^ I was also going to add...toss them on the grill for a minute to char them up a little bit.

I LOVE BBQ wings like that! :lover:

I must have to say - I'm sort of a 'breast guy' myself. =)
More meat. Less bone. Win Win. :b And you can still

hit them with all sorts of sauces etc, BBQ included.

It's an awesome update, Phil. Keep going till you drop!

^ See Bill, you surprise me.

I had you pegged as more of a bone guy versus breast although I am not sure why! ;)

Took Friday off to do some shopping with a friend so we decided to stop by the U Pick 6 Public House in Erie. Once again, I was not disappointed in the food...this time it was a bacon grape flat-bread with caramelized onions, balsamic vinegar, a white sauce base, mozzarella cheese and of course, bacon and grapes.

I know it sounds strange, but what a great combination...I could have probably eaten two of these it was so good! :lover:

Balsamic makes pretty much every savory food better.

Mmmmmmm balsamic vinegar. :lover: I think we have at least 9 different balsamics to enjoy, here at home. :b

The flatbread looks nice, Phil.

Bill/Joey - I also LOVE me some good balsamic! :lover:

Michael was dying to try that flatbread so went to the third U Pick 6 establishment after spending the night in Erie to see Cirque Holidaze last week (amazing show, BTW!).

This time, he got the bacon grape flatbread and I got the chipotle smoked wings with Thai Asian BBQ sauce. While the wings were tasty and the sauce was incredible, I still like my wings the old fashioned way - deep fried and not baked!

^ I have been bad about that, Bill...but I promise that I will make up for it in the near future!

We are going to Aruba soon, so that should provide a good opportunity for some unique Caribbean "Phoodie" adventures! :b

Actually, we are going out locally for wings and beer tonight to a place that I have never been before (my friend raves about their wings). I will make sure to snap some photos if they are good!

have you been before?

we were there about a year ago (on a cruise with terrible food), and had a WONDERFUL lunch at "the Paddock" (the fish soup was amazing), and then we had dinner that night at Bavaria restaurant (the schnitzel was among the best i've ever had).

here's a couple of pics from the Paddock (tho I'm 50lbs lighter these days) :)
