and a book from a list of 8, but I don't know what to chose...

Alt. Ed , Who am I without him? , Fade to Black , The Golden Compass , My Sister's Keeper , Feed , Can't get there from here , and Fallen Angels.

Summer reading really is torture.

^^To Kill a Mockingbird is a really good novel. It starts out slow but gets very interesting.

 

This summer I have to read Oliver Twist and Lord of the Flies.

I agree, it was pretty good.

However, i don't have the patience for novels that start out slow.

There should be something in the beginning to catch the reader's attention, and then the detail and setting up of the story can take place.

^Not many others of my classmates did, but I actually really enjoyed Lord of the Flies.

Well for the summer I have to read a 600pg. book caled Dragon Rider and then write a report but i am done. I started 6/22 and finished 6/25

I just graduated this year... so I don't have to read anything if I don't want to. But right now I'm in the middle of reading:

 

The Fountainhead - Ayn Rand

 

So far it's a great book, I've always liked her work.
