brygee910 Posted June 5, 2006 Posted June 5, 2006 http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-1405052800875900720&q=coaster Here is a link to a video I found on google when I was bored. I found it hilarious the expressions on the girls face and the guy had a few moments too. Let me know what ya think. -Bryan *wasn't sure were to post this* G
Chadley Posted June 5, 2006 Posted June 5, 2006 That is definently a future enthusiast! Absolutely hilarious, and scary at the same time. I couldn't tell from time to time if she was enjoying the ride, or if she was going to freak. But seriously, a totally precious moment caught on film. The look on my daughters face last year when she rode Big Bad Wolf (BGE) was great too. And me leaving the camcorder in the station...duh!
socalMAN123 Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 *eyes huge* "Can we go on that again daddy?" I see the makings of a future enthusiast. That's how every person on this website came to liking roller coasters. Being scared the living crap outta them and then going on it and loving it. It happens every time. ---Brent
BeemerBoy Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 That's good stuff. It's a wonder she didn't bite her toungue off though. And how long was that lift hill anyway? It seemed like it was the half the ride.
kenshinmac Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 lol... Two kids one year apart... Of course it is kinda funny to me because you can hear the trim brake they put in for 2006... If you listen and know where it is... Ok it is around the 24 second mark on the video... Honestly that is kinda nuts... But very funny...
mike541x Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 LMAO that was funny. Next thing you know she'll be a member for this forum when shes older. Cool Video. I wish I could have been recorded on my first roller coaster.
alpengeist04 Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 Wow, I sometimes make the same faces on coasters.
trustkill22 Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 All I have to say is i'm going to have a hard time sleeping tonight.
pcw guy Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 wow she took it like a champ, my first big coaster (vortex) was 4 years ago and it scared the shit out of me.but after i ended up going on it again, then again, then the other coasters in the park and well, i think you can figure out what happened after that
VegasCoaster Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 Those were some of the most interesting facial expressions I've ever seen. Hopefully she becomes an enthusiast, she seemed to like that ride at least 20% of the time.
Warlord694 Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 My daughter turned 8 last year and became a hard-core coasterhead like her Dad. In 2 weeks her world will be rocked, I have a 2 week trip planned to CP GL PKI SFKK HW and Beech Bend. I wish I could film her on TTD and MF. And get this, with out any input from me or Coaster forums, she doesn't like Vekoma or Arrow coasters! She really likes B&M's alot.
Jon Sabo Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 That was a good video moment. It was funny to decipher what she was "thinking" because she really didn't scream or yell, but just had those facial expressions. At one moment she looked like the girl from the Exorcist (eyes) and the next moment she had her tongue hanging out and smiling...lol
Xenox Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 ROFLLMAO!!! Those faces she made were INSANE. I wonder what coaster that was though...
jamesdillaman Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 I was wondering the same thing, the lift hill took forever, I'm sure somebody on here knows what coaster it was, can anybody help us out? -James Dillaman
jrkstl Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 I 99% certain that it was Twister at Six Flags Elitch Gardens.
Jon Sabo Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 ^ I agree. That semi-turnaround part after the lift is classic-Twister design as the original ride from its previous park. But this wasn't the original ride-correct? It was a re-make of the classic version (and tamed down alot..lol).
Corkscrewed Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 LMAO! That is really, really cute! Definitely a future enthusiast, and a really cool video! That pretty much describes all of our experiences here. Nervousness, gut dropping terror, getting used to it, then totally enjoying it by the second half, and then wanting to ride again. Great find!
