jason10 Posted May 21, 2006 Posted May 21, 2006 Hello. I have started to create a Park for RCT3 called Six Flags England and I started only yesterday. I am kinda new at this so it may be a bit amateurish so if you give me some advice I could make it realy good. I don't know how to take pictures on the game or make videos so when you teach me how to do it I will show you some pics! So far I have done some of main street and one ride. I also have the Six flags scenery pack so thats a bonus. Feel free to say stuff.
hardtosay1227 Posted May 21, 2006 Posted May 21, 2006 Hey this park sopunds cool. to take a picture press F10 and to take a video press control shift F11 but dont hold it down just press them hope that helps
Vekoma Fan Boy Posted May 21, 2006 Posted May 21, 2006 For roller coasters if you want to make one where we could just go in and ride without dieing then be careful for pullouts from level to pitched and pitched to level. Took me a while to become half decent at coaster building. *cough* all of RCT1 and some of RCT2 *cough*. and if you know a train will be going fast over a hill use the parabolic slope pecies. (kind of obvious though ). Â Oh and stay away form the "Flying Camera Route Editor" i still havent figured out how to use it.
jason10 Posted May 21, 2006 Author Posted May 21, 2006 Thanks for the tips and I will be sure to take them on board! I have so far put some of the monorail in (well the first Main Street station) so I will post some pictures.
jason10 Posted May 21, 2006 Author Posted May 21, 2006 It says The Attachment is too big. Max Size: 300 KB Please can someone help me. I have the photos I just need to upload them.
kenshinmac Posted May 21, 2006 Posted May 21, 2006 Ok the likely problem is that you haven't converted the pictures from Bitmaps to jpegs. Simply open the pictures in paint on Windows and you can just select SaveAs and pick jpg or jpeg as your file type. That will significantly reduce the file size. If it still isn't enough you will have to change the size of the picture. That can also be done through paint. Â Hope all that helps.
jason10 Posted May 22, 2006 Author Posted May 22, 2006 Ok i have the photos I have done more to it so I will take some more photos and put them on here but here are the first... Finally an overview of the park The six flags bus! A nice look Down Main street Some more of the Monorail Station Main Street Monorail Station
jason10 Posted May 22, 2006 Author Posted May 22, 2006 I come with good news. Those weren't the only photos here are some more... Note the 3rd drop is bigger than the rest even the first. Cobra Roll Thingy Steel Venom! Just the Carousel Carousel and Allirion
thefitness Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 i like this park I think its gonna turn out really nice
Reon Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 Are you counting the main drop as 2 drops or one? Â Â Anyways, Steel Venom looks SWEET! Deffinately a nice layout that some real companys should look into for compact coasters. Cant wait to see how your park turns out. Im just sad I had to uninstall RCT3 due to memory issues.
jason10 Posted May 22, 2006 Author Posted May 22, 2006 I count the turn after the lift as a drop and then the main one then it is the third one which is biggest.
jason10 Posted May 23, 2006 Author Posted May 23, 2006 Done a lot to the park and I have a teaser video of a Roller Coaster in the park so here it is.
jason10 Posted May 24, 2006 Author Posted May 24, 2006 Then how do you put a video on to a message then. (see I am new to this stuff)
jason10 Posted May 24, 2006 Author Posted May 24, 2006 Found out how to so hopefully it should work so here is the video. Superman Ride of Steel Teaser 1.WMV
COASTER FREAK 11 Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 It works, very good. Â Now all we need are some pics or a movie!
jason10 Posted May 25, 2006 Author Posted May 25, 2006 Here are some pics of the update the the anticipated pics of Superman!
jason10 Posted May 25, 2006 Author Posted May 25, 2006 Thanks for the positive coments. I think it is turning out better than I expected.
COASTER FREAK 11 Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 I suck at creating my opwn parks. I can do a predesigned landscape but not from scratch
kennywood!007 Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 Awsome work!! This park is turning out great!!!! Can't wait for more....
jason10 Posted May 27, 2006 Author Posted May 27, 2006 I have done quite a lot of work to the park so expect an update in a short period of time. I may even send a POV and some offride shots of Superman Ride of Steel!
