jedimaster1227 Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 I loved #27! Maybe in the next comic you could hint at Spookbaby's love of Darude. As for the angry Rabbi Joey, I can't say much but:
dandaman Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 I love all the extra touches in these things. Dan "Veykoma " Smith
FLIPDUDE Posted January 31, 2007 Author Posted January 31, 2007 Heheh, thanks! I do beleive page 64 is broken though.
jedimaster1227 Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 Darude is a Techno music group. Spookbaby talked briefly about them here: Ummm... shut up! I Darude!!! I just got a random thought when looking back through your comic... a floorless B&M box!
Reality15 Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 Wow, Jewy has lots of facial hair now... Amazing work, Flipdude. Amazing.
Ryan King Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 Wow! That looks A LOT like the REAL Jeff Johnson, except A LOT more creepy...and hes not smoking... Anywho, great job as Always Flip! Keep em comin! -Ryan
FLIPDUDE Posted February 1, 2007 Author Posted February 1, 2007 EDIT: If ANYTHING pisses you off about the comics, or you just plain don't like something about them, please tell me in a grown up fashion, instead of insults, ignores, or just not saying anything. I dont do anything in the comics with intention of offending people. Also - please do not use sarcasm, I often dont catch sarcasm and then people get mad at me thinking I knew what they meant. Thank you.
KrakenKing Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 Don't listen to them Flipdude! I think the comics are great! Keep drawing man New one is really funny by the way.
jedimaster1227 Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 ^^Who said something negative about this amazing comic?!?!
Guy T. Koepp Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 I love Rabbi Joey! Funniest Character in a while. I thought Jeff J's skin could have been more tan and leathery. But no biggie. I can not say it enough. Your characters are great, your story telling is awesome. You do a masterful job. You inspire me. Keep up the awesome work.
FLIPDUDE Posted February 2, 2007 Author Posted February 2, 2007 thanks guy. ^^just some people werent happy with the way I portrayed certain charecters, as to who it was I'd rather not say.
pete4winds Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 just some people werent happy with the way I portrayed certain charecters, as to who it was I'd rather not say. Oh, please do...they must be allowed to stand up and be recognized for their utter buffoonery. Keep 'em coming. This is funny stuff!
the sound Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 Rabbi Joey? NO! It should be Joey the Joey!
jedimaster1227 Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 thanks guy. ^^just some people werent happy with the way I portrayed certain charecters, as to who it was I'd rather not say. Well, at least you know that the majority of the posters on this thread think your work is amazing. I hope that their comments weren't too discouraging. Keep up the amazing work and ignore any negativity you come across. Your work has already become a success so you don't need to prove your talent to anybody. If artists never recieved any criticism in their earlier years, they would have never worked harder to create more!
jamesdillaman Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 ^ Don't let it worry you, FLIPDUDE, if a moderator thinks it crosses the line, they'll change it, but it clearly states in the forum rules that you need a sense of humor to view this forum, so tell the to Bugger Off if they can't take a joke! -James Dillaman
Masked_Maverick Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 "Jeff you credit whore" Holy crap that had me rolling thanks flipdude that made my night after a really crappy week.
robbalvey Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 I'm a bit dissapointed that there was drama relating to FLIPDUDE's comics. They are meant to be entertaining and everyone involved with them should be able to "take a joke." I mean, we certainly dish enough of it out! Seriously, it bums me out to see that something that is harmless fun had created drama. That's all I'm going to say. --Robb "Get some thicker skin..." Alvey
FLIPDUDE Posted February 4, 2007 Author Posted February 4, 2007 I appreciate what youre trying to do guys but please dont go on the offense about the people who had problems with my drawings, they had a valid point and a good reason to be offended by what I drew, what discouraged me is the way they handled it, which I rather not disclose, what I was trying to say is that for future relevance, if something about the ocmic bothers you, I want you to talk it over with me, maybe I didnt realize its offensive, maybe its based on somehting I misunderstood, if so Ill take the comic down. My issue wasnt that people were upset because of the comic, it was that htey automatically assumed i meant to offend and acted accordingly, when it was really just a misunderstanding. so Im just asking people to talk to me as an adult if something bothers them. Thank you And please put this behind, because the people involved are valued readers of this comic and I dont want anyone to bash them anymore, thank you.
niiicolaaah Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 "I'm not wearing panties!" OMG... hahahahahhaha!
Masked_Maverick Posted February 4, 2007 Posted February 4, 2007 ^^^ It's not your fault Robb I think some people need to re-read the bit about needing a sense of humor to use this site. I just hate it when people flip out over stupid crap like that.
Masked_Maverick Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 The plot thickens. Flipdude, I was very shocked.
IwantRevenge Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 O_o gasp makeover joe! how...how...how could he! Sorry Flipdude
