Guy T. Koepp
Wow! How have I missed this thred? This park looks like it's going to be awesome! It doesn't shock me that it is taking so long to get this place put together. Afterall, most water parks are built using just steel supports and concrete. This whole park is being carved out of a hill. I love the fact that everything is neutral colors. It has much more of a natural feel to it. When are they expecting completetion? it looks as if they have quite a lot of work to do still. That wave pool looks massive! do you know how many gal./ltr. it will be? Â Keep us updated. Your pictures are awesome!
Adriel
That's awesome dude!!! Â Cool!! Never see waterpark like that!

coastermaniac1
So when will it get the coasters if they are getting any? Â Is this going to open this year or next year? Â Looks fantastic, I cant wait to see what it looks like when it is finished.

alanlyons
I have been told that the land on which Siam Park is built is "rustic", and that the Town Hall is only allowing culturally in-tune, sympathetic development. This means the water park will be slides only, and there won't be any heavy / noisy / large mechanised rides, ruling out roller-coasters. Is this wrong? Does anyone know anything about this? ECZenith
This place is a bowl slide fan's wet dream. I love how the enclosed bowl has a segment below ground level. Awesome!
Lincow
I have been told that the land on which Siam Park is built is "rustic", and that the Town Hall is only allowing culturally in-tune, sympathetic development. This means the water park will be slides only, and there won't be any heavy / noisy / large mechanised rides, ruling out roller-coasters. Is this wrong? Does anyone know anything about this?  Where did you heard/read that? Éstas últimas instalaciones sà llevan buen ritmo, incluso hay algunas que están en un 90% de ejecución, añadió Kiessling.   to sum up.....The park will open in summer due to problems with the huge wave pool, there are zones without water/electricity yet but they are working very hard to open the park in summer

alanlyons
This is what I was told by the Town Hall. I would imagine San Eugenio / Las Americas residents would not accept a noisy / flashy development right on their doorstep? So it would have to be quite / under-stated? Very happy to hear if this is wrong.

Guy T. Koepp
I think that photo is a little more than 4 months old. It still looks like they're digging holes in that one. Most of the rides have been pretty complete for a while. Â I think they're just landscaping now. Â I could be wrong. Usually are.

Guy T. Koepp
IMHO it realy dosn't look like they've progressed that much at all. They still have a lot of work to do before opening. However, what they have done looks amazing.
the sound
Remember though, a few months ago there was just dirt, some building shapes and a whole lot of melted slides.
