WillMontu Posted February 23, 2008 Author Posted February 23, 2008 ^ I've had the Van in mind for a while, I just haven't gotten round to making a ride themed after it yet.
WillMontu Posted March 17, 2008 Author Posted March 17, 2008 Not much new lately, but I recently got this little ride working. Â This one's for you, Joey, and yes, it actually works, though with only one ride vehicle at the moment. This is taking into account that no such ride exists in the official versions of RCT2 Â I'm still open for suggestions. I'm thinking of adding a Florida themed area with Leonardo's Pizza, a Peoplemover, Erik's van, and Derek's Brewery.
DBru Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 The freefall ride is awesome! How did you make it? (And yes, I know you used 8cars, but how?)
BRTeller Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 The freefall ride is awesome! How did you make it? (And yes, I know you used 8cars, but how?) I'm pretty sure he merged the two tracks and put it on free fall drop mode.
FLIPDUDE Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Wow!!! That is some creative and awsome thinking!!!
coastermaniac Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 That's pretty awesome. How long before you think it will be completed?
WillMontu Posted March 29, 2008 Author Posted March 29, 2008 ^ "When it's done", which shouldn't be too far away And of course, one of the greatest Disney rides ever - The PeopleMover! Work has started on a drop ride similar to the MGM version of Tower of Terror Groundbreaking started on a new Florida themed area, as it's Elissa's home state and many of the rides in Florida are better than their California counterparts Journey to the Center of Robb is another of the park's new coasters. Some work to do on the theming
devol4 Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 wow this park's really progressing... i can't wait to see the tower of terror recreation your working, it looks good so far
coastercrazed49 Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 Great Stuff Will. The Florida Section looks awesome. BTW is that coaster track I see near the top right of TOT?
devol4 Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 Great Stuff Will. The Florida Section looks awesome. BTW is that coaster track I see near the top right of TOT? Â Yeah, I noticed that as well...
WillMontu Posted April 2, 2008 Author Posted April 2, 2008 I'm basing it on the Florida version, and that was the only way to get the cars to move sideways. Again, there are limits to RCT2, and I wanted something better than just a "drop tower" ride. Â I'm still open for suggestions
devol4 Posted April 22, 2008 Posted April 22, 2008 Well, it still looks good, and that is the best way to get something close to what the original ride system is. Hopefully you'll have some updates soon? Â
thomas2 Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 I just read you're looking for a SD2000 ride (months ago) so I quickly made something which looks a bit like SD2000. I tried to make it as realistic as possible which means I had to cut on the height of the ride. Is this what you're looking for or do you want a enormous SD2000 ride? Â Excuse me for being so late but I just saw this park today. Great job!
BeatleBen Posted May 15, 2008 Posted May 15, 2008 Very cool concept for an RCT park! Hope you finish it as I might want to download it some day.
vedved82491 Posted May 15, 2008 Posted May 15, 2008 ^^^Technically it's SD2K. 2000K is like saying two thousand thousand. or in other words two million.
thomas2 Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 ^^^Technically it's SD2K. 2000K is like saying two thousand thousand. or in other words two million. Â Woops sorry I didn't notice that. Thanks
WillMontu Posted June 12, 2008 Author Posted June 12, 2008 Just a quick update: Â I haven't played RCT2 much lately but I have added the "Phallus" rocket coaster, that rockets peeps up a 550ft tower. Â I need more ideas for the Florida themed section. I'm trying to model it loosely on Tomorrowland at WDW (with the PeopleMover)
Kalepi_Konei Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 For the Florida part of the park I would suggest a Space Mountain without a roof so its like with the lights on or something. And if you really wanna be technical we have some awesome go karts down here in Fun Spot so some hyped up go kart tracks would be pretty wicked sweet too. Make a mini-SheiKra kiddie coaster, that would be awesome!
FLIPDUDE Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 ^Mini Sheikra  That would be so awesome. A kiddie coaster with a vertical drop.
Kalepi_Konei Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 Please dont forget about this park Ive been hoping for an update, and I'd really like to see you tackle the Florida section. Â Okay, heres my other rendition of what I think would be cool there. Â A massively themed area since we have some amazing parks here. Â Still keep the Mini-SheiKra idea (please build this.) Â And maybe a mini-version of some other Florida rides.
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Please continue with this park! I even have a suggestion for the SF area: build a realistic S:TE. Make it launch to it's acclaimed top speed of 100mph (really only 80mph these days) and give it a mile of extra track above the 200ft it already reaches, you know to keep it from flying off the track during an over-launch? (that's unlikely, but you want to be realistic, don't you? ) Â For the Florida area, maybe a Montu? Kumba? Space Mountain? Kraken? Â If you're considering Space Mountain, go to amazingearl.com; he's made some cool stuff, including Space Mountain themed cars!
