Red Posted March 25, 2006 Posted March 25, 2006 Has anyone heard or even been to this place? I recently stumbled across a listing at Wikipedia that mentioned it being a small Chinese amusement park. Here's something that caught my attention: "For 2006 LimmyLand will open Dekamaishani, a 222 foot tall and B&M hypercoaster. This will be B&M's first roller coaster in China. It will also be the tallest roller coaster in China." I searched RCDB and Yahoo, and came up with nothing. Anyone have any information on LimmyLand? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LimmyLand
BorisTF Posted March 25, 2006 Posted March 25, 2006 The whole thing seems fake to me....RCDB lists no records of LimmyLand, nor does it have any matches for two of the coasters, and the only 'Go-Go Sneaker' coasters are in Japan. The picture doesn't even appear to be a Togo Mouse...
viking86 Posted March 25, 2006 Posted March 25, 2006 Yeah seems fake. The mouse coaster looks like an Arrow, and the parks website doesnt work.
ECZenith Posted March 25, 2006 Posted March 25, 2006 The logo is unprofessional and the name 'Hashaboom' just threw the whole thing off. Good try though, to whoever came up with it.
Jeezus Juice Posted March 25, 2006 Posted March 25, 2006 Yeah, that picture is of the arrow mouse at michigans adventure. Check out the picture below and you can see the froghopper in the lower right corner. Someone went through a lot of trouble for this though...weird. waterviper Posted March 25, 2006 Posted March 25, 2006 ^^ Not only that Don. Look at the colorfull words at the top of the coaster. It is the same as the pic in Wikipedia!! LOL more proof that this is all bunk!!! Here is the pic from WIKIPEDIA. picture from WIKIPEDIA
timetrial3141592 Posted March 26, 2006 Posted March 26, 2006 I am putting an "accuracy disputed" block up there right now. EDIT: A new template was put up.
nissanskyline1235 Posted March 26, 2006 Posted March 26, 2006 Anybody notice that the link for Dekamaishani takes you to Dekalb? --Cody W
Bk1870 Posted March 26, 2006 Posted March 26, 2006 Hmm...seems fishy how it explains the park. Like, here a death accident and then a new coaster? I will have to agree on others...this probably is fake.
