verticalzero Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 Check this new ride out: http://www.air-diver.com
QuakerOaties Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 As much as I like to see new flat rides, this one looks pretty lame. I'd much rather ride a skyscraper. Mark "The initial drop would be fun, but after that..." Luskus
Homer Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 I agree with Quaker, a unique flat and an intense looking drop, but after that... its just, eh...
Inferno Insane Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 Saw one of theses at Foire Du Trone Paris in May. Didn’t look that special and did't last long for how many euros it was. :?
Teddymonster Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 So it's basically a gravity powered Screaming Swing? I would honestly give it a chance...I'm always up for a new experience!
Jeezus Juice Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 Lame, it's like all the worst parts of a skyscaper and a screamin' swing rolled into one. Just give me a SS with a longer cycle thank you very much.
Cerberus Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 In addition to all the comments saying how lame it rides, I'd like to point out (as if needed) that it looks like a reject from a building site.. Like a retarded crane that nobody loved... Cerberus
Canobie Fan Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 I have seen a few videos of htis back in the spring. All it is....Is a moveable SkyCoaster.. that you standup on.. Woo...
Jeezus Juice Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 It kinda reminds me of a Sky Coaster with all of the swing but none of the cable-y goodness. Still, I would definately try it if I didn't have to wait and it didn't cost too much.
benzo41190 Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 From the looks of it, it looks like there would be some of zero g's. I mean nothing really special It would be better if the seats rolled around and flipped over too. Or if the entire support system would rotate around.
PhishyBrewer Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 Lame, it's like all the worst parts of a skyscaper and a screamin' swing rolled into one. My thoughts exactly! What a waste... why don't we build another Mean Streak while were at it.
benzo41190 Posted October 24, 2005 Posted October 24, 2005 ^hey im for it MeanStreak was good when it was newish and had no trims! Now it is old, rough, slow, and just a POS! I wish they would re-furbish it and take out the trims.
