And yet again, the old people have sold their soul to stay in the game despite stupid Gretchen getting her fat ass in the elephant for no reason!

You know that I'm fine with gay people, being that half of this site and half of my friends are gay, but can I just say...

I'M SO GLAD THE GAY GUYS ARE GONE!!!

I just couldn't stand them!!!!

Oh, and I can't believe she shaved her head, oh well...she actually did look pretty good bald! Any of those white girls would have looked awful!

I liked Lynn and Alex... they were good comic relief among couples who are pretty intense. The took it seriously, but not tooo seriously. But, they also didn't do much to break the stereotype, either. It was funny last night... my six year old finally caught on when she heard one of them call the other "Honey". The look on her face was classic!

I have to say I was in tears when Joyce didn't back down from the head shaving. My husband and I have suffered financial troubles like they are, and I'll tell you what... I'd shave my head too if it meant we'd be that close to a million bucks.

Still rooting for the old folks though... I just can't help it!

ps.. Elissa... did you get my email that Rob and Amber's wedding will be on TV?

^I am thinking the baby will be next. Can you see Rob in a hospital... trying to get them to deliver her ahead of other mothers, or trying to get some special treatment? LOL And then the delivery "Oh AMBUH!! Oh Baby". That would be great!!

Supposedly, they either A) got married this past weekend at Atlantis in the Bahamas, or they are B) getting married this weekend. There are two different reports depending on the website.

  • 2 weeks later...

OK... I've spent way too much of my time today posting about a more serious subject....let's talk mindless reality tv!! Alright, TAR is not mindless. After all, I have learned more about geography and cultures than I knew before (I knew the term "whirling dervish", however I didn't know it was a PERSON).

So, anyway.... let's have a moment of silence and raise a glass of GERITOL in honor of the newly eliminated Gretchen and Meredith. They rocked!!

That said, I am now rooting for Uchenna and Joyce, because they need to money. I will also be ok with Rob and Amber winning. However, if those weenie whiners Ron and Kelly win, I will be ticked.

^Yeah the lipstick thing was creepy!

I'm honestly glad to see the old people gone, they made too many mistakes and were just riding the others coat tails.

^Ahhh, but coat-tail-riding has made many a reality tv millionaire, wouldn't you agree. Just ask Amber.

I wish I had a scanner, I would send you Sammi's and my "Romber" pictures. If they win TAR I may have to find someone to scan them for me so I can post them and brag about my little brush with fame

I loved how on the preview Ron and Kelly said they were playing ethically unlike Romber.

WTF!?!? It's for $1 million dollars. I would yield my mother for $1 million. Hell, I would yield her just because I thought it was effin' hilarious.

They were just pissed they didn't get their first. They would have yielded Romber.

I'll miss 'em, but bye bye Old Folk...

The whole bus montage was great, Merideth was getting so upset! I'm still rooting for Romber to win! But I too wouldn't mind Uchenna and Joyce either. Anyone but the supercouple...

I laughed out loud (very loud) at my desk at work when I read this, Gregg! I am with you-for a 1-4 chance at $1 mil, I would too!

GRRRRRRR!!!! I'm so mad...I wanted Rob and Amber to win...I still haven't seen how it ends but I read it on some of the boards what happened...

1. Uchenna & Joyce

2. Rob & Amber

3. Who cares they suck!

I thought they were going to DQ Uchenna and Joyce because near the end when Joyce was begging for the cab fare, some lady asked what it was for, and she said "We're racing..." That would have been an excellent twist.

I was secretley pulling for Romber just because everyone else I know who watches it has irrational hate for them. I'm just glad it wasn't POW & Bitch Beauty Queen got shafted.

^ LOL Dave! I swear, I just wanted to smack those two so bad. I seriously could not believe when she said that he "got out" of being in the army!! She is very self-centered, as are most beauty queens, I suppose.

As much of a fan as I am of "Romber" because of my allegience to "Survivor" (still my favorite show), I have to say I was really pulling for U&J because of their financial and baby struggles. That really hit home for me, and when they won, I was bawling so hard that my husband came in the living room to see what was wrong with me!! (I am a cryer, it's just that simple). That said, however, how did they get on that plane..... I found that kind of suspicious..........

My friend and I were waiting for Ron to clock Kelly. Seriously, after the "How Dare You Speak To Me That Way!" thing she pulled in the car ride in Miami, and her basically calling him an immature loser at the finish line, she needed to be punched. HARD.

That was definetely the result I was hoping for. The Survivor couple was way too cocky and selfish. Just watching the show you could relate their relationship to a middle school one. ("It's all about my needs being met.") U & J had a much better attitude. The other couple was stuck on other issues rather that the race, and rightfully so.

I'm just glad that Ron and Kelly didn't win.

I still think it's kinda fishy that Uchenna and Joyce got on that flight to Miami. The pilot would never do that, the plane was pulling away from the gate. I smell Producer influence. I mean, if Romber had gotten on that plane by themselves it wouldn't have even been close.

^Funny that you mention that...

There are actually a lot of sites out there crying foul, saying that that's what happened because they wanted U&J to win. Hey, I could believe it!

Seriously, it's one thing to hold a plane when it's the last flight out of the night, or you know someone is coming, or there's a connection issue. But there was another flight like 2 hours later!

Elissa "add me to the conspiracy list!" Alvey

I wasn't aware that it was even a "conspiracy", meaning that there was ANY doubt whatsoever.

You want a finale that's actually a race rather than a "procession to victory", then you hold that plane for them... it's that simple.

I'm glad Uchenna and Joyce won, they needed the money.

I'm glad Rob/Amber didn't win, cause they didn't need it, although I think they played the best.

I'm glad Ron/Kelly didn't win, even though I know her personally. Never said I LOVED her, just grew up with her. Poor Ron. Run away, Ron. Run away screaming into the night!
