my Husband bought me a box of chocolates that he left for me when I woke up today (along with a card).

 

usually chocolates are a no-no, but I guess since we're going to be on a cruise very soon, "bad for you" food is ok this year. . LOL

We went out to Cafe Cusco, a Peruvian restaurant in downtown Springfield, and one of the best places to eat in the Ozarks. Ceviche tacos They also serve Mother's and White River, two local Springfield breweries (the latter is just right down the street).

We celebrated over the weekend because we never actually go out to eat on Valentines Day because its impossible to find a table anywhere. So Saturday evening we checked out this new seafood bar that recently opened near us called Bait & Switch and we are crazy in love with it. Its a 5 minute walk from my house and likely gonna be my new neighborhood go-to. We had great food, got sh*tty drunk and apparently came home and had a private dance party followed by some other fun things. Yesterday morning she got a card and chocolates from me. She also gave me some chocolates. Last night I bought her a pizza and a bottle of wine and we laid around enjoying that in our pajamas and were fast asleep by 10pm cause we're old. lol.
