I saw a topic like this on the Theme Park thread, but since this isn't theme park related, I've decided to start a new one.

Anyway, here's my story...

This happened to me this morning, when I woke up around 5:30AM. My cell phone alarm went off, and I turned on my lamp beside my bed. I sat up, looked at my bedroom door, and all of a sudden... it slammed shut. You heard correct... my bedroom door slammed shut. All by itself. At first I thought it was the wind, because my window was partially open. But then I remembered, it takes more then just a gust of wind to close my door. I literally have to turn the handle, push the door in, then release the handle, just to close my bedroom door. I sat on my bed shocked... trying to comprehend what just happened. I mean, my bedroom door slammed shut, all by itself. How many times does this happen to YOU? Especially when you're looking at it?! I mean, you've got to understand! This kind of stuff doesn't happen to everybody, this really freaked me out! Again, it SLAMMED shut. It didn't just slowly move along the hinges and close... it literally closed... with speed.

Anyone have an explanation to this?

Something like this happen to anyone else?

Did you have a window open? Does your house have a draft? Things like that are probably explainable without supernatural occurance. The human mind thinks that if something isn't obvious (ie: a gust of wind) it must be ghosts or something.

Now, if it happens frequently, or other crazy stuff starts happening, let us know!

wes (ghostbusters!)

^^I don't know when the house was built, or the history behind it... I'll ask my dad when he gets home from the movies tonight =\

Yeah Wes, I mentioned that lol

^ Then I really wouldn't rule out it being wind/draft/suction.

Now when you start having people whispering in your ear and old men standing at the foot of your bed, then you can start really freaking out.

wes (did i mention that my parents' house is haunted?)

I never really had any experiences, I've been in a museum that was rumored to be haunted. The only possible encounter I had was when I was sleeping in my dorm room sleeping in the early morning, and I was aware of everything around me and not really thinking, until I heard a womens voice call my name. I opened my eyes to see no one there and my roommate fast asleep. It was probably my mind, but I can't really confirm what happend.

This is probably nothing, but one time I woke up throwing up bright green puke; then my head spun around 360 degrees! About the topic, my bedroom door does that ALL the time. But its because of the draft; even if your window is only slightly open, it can still cause it to slam shut.

I really believe in spirits and that sort of thing. I currently live in a relativly new apartment complex, so I havent dealt with anything, but my house back in CA was built in the early 30's. My mom and I both experienced weird things such as lights turning on and off, things falling over, and seeing shadows of people and such.

I also worked at a theatre that was built in the eraly 20's, and my stage manager had done some research that at least 4 people had died in the theatre in its history. I saw a lot of things along the same lines. Lights going on and off, ropes moving and shaking(in parts not accesible to people), and other such crazy stuff. I learned a certain respect for spirits and such.

Yeah... at the moment there is peace in the house...

but at the same time... I'm not in the greatest mood right now.

I just got home from the homecoming parade for my school... and it wasn't as great as you'd expect it to be. It wasn't great at all...

At the end of the parade, a little kid was riding around on his scooter in the street... and was run over by a truck. People everywhere... crying... teary-eyes... it was so emotional. I didn't want to stay there... but something kept me from leaving. I saw the kid on the stretcher... the blood on his face... the puddle of blood on the ground. It was so hard to take it all in. I'm crying right now trying to type all of this... so I'm just going to stop there... I'll continue when I feel better...

Thanks for listening... reading... praying.
