Dine For America is today! (10/5/05)

Hi everyone,

 

Just to let everyone know, today (Oct. 5, 2005), restaurants from around the nation and parts of the world will be participating in Dine For America. On that day, these restaurants will be donating their profits to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. I work for Outback Steakhouse and we will be donating 100% of our sales that day. This also includes Outback's other concept restaurants including: Carrabba's Italian Grill, Bonefish Grill, Lee Roy Selmon's, Paul Lee's Chinese Kitchen, Roy's, and Fleming's Prime Steak House and Wine Bar. To find out about other restaurants participating go to: www.dineforamerica.org So dine out at your fav place today and in the process help the disaster victims along the gulf coast.

I don't mind donating. It's just eating and thinking of such sadness that gets to me.

I am disappointed not to see Cheeseburger in Paradise on the list.... Outback is their parent company, and I am already going their on the 5th for my birthday with a group of 6 others.... sure hope they get on board.

Just got back from the aforementioned mini cheeseburgers and presents!! Went to CB in Paradise here in Cincy and it was quite yummy! There were 7 in our group and it was a lot of fun, and nice to know it was going to a good cause. Just surprised this didn't get more media attention.

Thanks to everyone for helping out the cause today. I just got back from work (Outback). We were very busy, like a Sat night, not our typical Wed. night! Hopefully everyone else was busy accross the nation. Thanks again.
