tinhead Posted September 30, 2005 Posted September 30, 2005 Really nice video the smoothest POV's ever.
robbalvey Posted September 30, 2005 Author Posted September 30, 2005 Can you do a POV of "Shivering Timbers" and "Apollo's Chariot" soon. We have already done these! They can be found on our Coaster Expedition Volume 1 DVD: http://www.themeparkreview.com/videos/volume1.htm --Robb "I can't give ALL our videos away for free!" Alvey
verticalzero Posted September 30, 2005 Posted September 30, 2005 Thanks Robb, I may have to buy the complete set of DVD's which you offer for Xmas Pressie I just wondered if there was a free one that's all. All of your free POV's are excellent.
robbalvey Posted October 4, 2005 Author Posted October 4, 2005 Ok, time to un-stick this. If you haven't downloaded the Liseberg video yet, you can do so here: http://www.themeparkreview.com/videos/video.htm And just so you know, we are VERY close to shipping the DVDs! I thought I had a final master last night of all three discs, but there was a technical error on one of them. I'm hoping for tomorrow! --Robb "Sorry for the delay." Alvey
coasterguy618 Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 Great video! THat is probalby one of my favorite videos! I like the song selection, and I want to ride all those coasters really badly! Gaven "If only they had Lisebergbanan in America" D'Ambra
calcajun Posted October 5, 2005 Posted October 5, 2005 Yeah! I likes me some Foo Fighters I really like the look of that steel coaster that seems to run along around some hills close to the ground. Looks like some nice fast long curve drops. Love those. I don't fly though so i will never ride it. Sigh Ok so now don't say, You will ride coasters but i won't fly?
SharkTums Posted October 5, 2005 Posted October 5, 2005 Never say never! You can get on one of those Transatlantic cruises that go from Galveston to London, then a ferry to Gothenberg and ride it!
calcajun Posted October 5, 2005 Posted October 5, 2005 Thats awesome! Not that I have to worry about getting days off work right now! How many days do I need off for this trip by boat?
SharkTums Posted October 5, 2005 Posted October 5, 2005 lol...16 days Galveston to London (or rome, or a bunch of other ports!)...then with either car or ferry you can make it to Liseberg within a day or two! So we have to hear at some point why you won't fly!
calcajun Posted October 5, 2005 Posted October 5, 2005 Looks like I just might then! For the next planned trip I guess I have to get a two week head start on the group! You know, I am so single right now. I really depend on others to plan and get me around. Not that I can't, or don't want to. Just don't ever seem to get around to doing it myself. Hell, This summer I didn't even get out to Georgia or Texas. I only spent Labor Day weekend at fiesta cause I was EvacT and could not go home yet! Ok, So I flew three times when I was young and it was ok. By my mid 20's I had seen quite a few devastating air accidents which made me afraid of flying. At 25 I took vacation to Cali and I was afraid the whole six hour trip. Upon descending my jaws started to hurt and I was in pain until we landed. Same thing happened on return flight home. Now I just say I choose not to fly. In reality I believe I will be the statistic of one in a million that will crash and burn. Of course similar statistics for thrill rides but I am realy good at not thinking about it when standin in front of a huge coaster. Oh my god! Have you ever seen me type so much! Well, Yeah, but that one seems to be gone now :?
DerekRx Posted October 5, 2005 Posted October 5, 2005 Awesome POV and great music. I thought I'd really love Balder's POV, but I was more excited with Lisebergbanan. Then again, you guys know how I feel about POV. The only reason I watch coaster videos is for stupid antics, good music, and awesome editing. Still, the video will hold me over until next year's trip!
