I've enjoyed this season much more than the past few. There's enough organic drama with loved ones, reception island and the normal vote that nothing has felt forced. I do feel the challenges have been a bit puzzle-heavy to try to make things fair between everyone, but that's only a small complaint.

I quite liked last season, but the family aspect to this one is making it very interesting, and gives the redemption island mechanic more meaning. Disappointed to see Rupert kicked out so early but the rest of the season has made up for it though. Kind of annoyed that Colton quit a second time, don't expect to see him at the reunion show (Caleb must be a very patient BF!).

Colton was a joke.

He professed to have changed his previous ways, then went through a

crying scene I had second thoughts about. Then he lashed out

at one of the women on a boat challenge on the water. Actually

he screamed at her.

That's when I tuned out of it, and then found out he had left.

I felt really sorry for his 'fiance' and thought he could do better.

My 2 cents on it. Now I am watching it, from time to time.

And I will really surprised if Colton actually shows up at the Reunion Show.

I can think of 10,000 reasons why Colton will be at the reunion. I don't think it's fair to say he quit the first time since it seemed like he was in some pain but unfortunately he didn't change the 2nd time. He was worse to watch this time around imo because he acted like more of a baby and sore loser this time.

^When he quit during Blood vs Water, Jeff made a comment stating that he'd faked the illness in the earlier season, in order to be evacuated.

And rightfully so. The fact that they invite him back for another season after the way he left last year, then he just continues his ways and then quits after breaking down into tears for no apparent reason. I'd be pissed too.

This season has been better then the last couple. But I really dislike them bringing back previous players. It worked this season because they were paired up.

Is it just me or does it seem like the eat a lot better now? They don't seem to be complaining as much about being hungry and you never see them out fishing.

I'm not a fan of returning players, as they come in with a huge advantage (i.e. Boston Rob returning and winning the game). It seems to have worked out okay this time.

I guess it's easy to eat when Jeff lets the entire tribe share the food reward. It's nice and all, but why doesn't he stick to the rules?

It seems like the show has been edited to give a much stronger focus on the social game this season, with the new family element adding some complexity to this. I suspect they might also be giving viewers a rest from that part of the game, so the show doesn't seem too repetitive from season to season. The contestants definitely went to town on the food reward last week!

I'm personally a very big fan of the show and have enjoyed it more than most of the recent seasons. Though I think the edit has made the winner look very obvious. I figured it out pretty early without spoilers but I won't say who I think it is.

And why is it you don't want to share your thoughts?

You got to love that he won't say who. That way no matter who wins he can say they knew it.

Honestly it was because I didn't want to spoil the season for others. I'll say now if you don't believe me. Since episode 4 I've thought Tyson was looking like the clear winner. They've emphasized all his moves, shown no negatives of his game and had a nice winner's quote about his sister when she lost in RI. I will be shocked if I end up being wrong about that. The edit for Cochran's win was strong and obvious too.

^Kim and Cochran both had that type of edit too. Ciera's move last episode really sealed up a Tyson win imo.

Maybe but two things happened that can flip this game. Ciera's Mom coming back into the game and Tyson no longer has the idol and lied about having it. We'll see what happens tonight.
