I play RCT2 a LOT more than 3 even though 3 has a lot of the rides I wish 2 had. I'll probably be laughed at but I would take all the coasters, flat rides, and water park attractions in 3 and put it back in RCT2 form.

That's mny wish too. Though the probability of it happening is slim to nothing

So I'm trying to find some enjoyment in RCT3. I don't know if anyone remembers or knows, there's a Playstation 2 game called "Theme Park World" I think, or whatever, it's made by Bullfrog and EA. It's basically the Sims, meets RCT. I'm comparing them and other than obvious technology and what not, they're the same game. Besides that, the two problems I have with RCT3 still pop-up with ride designing and I didn't realize this, it's freakin hard as shit to make footpaths if you don't know what you're doin.

My list of random things that I'd like to see but will probably never happen:

Omnimovers- like the Revolutionary Rides one except actually make it a continuous string of vehicles. Heck, just use ALL of the RR rides!

Lights that can be added to rooftops and whatnot would be nice. And big light-up letters like Kennywood's Racer sign would be nice.

Darkness inside of buildings would make it so much easier to build dark rides.

And going with dark rides, have a 'show lights' tab to make all sorts of dark ride effects.

Keep the rides from losing popularity after being open for ten minutes. And actually have queues fill up like they did in RCT1-2 instead of only having ten people ever in them.

In terms of coaster construction, have options. If one wants to take the 'classic RCT' route, they should still be able to construct rides in the grid method with cookie cutter pieces if they wish, but there could also be an 'advanced' mode more akin to Nolimits with no regard to the grid, albiet in a significantly simpler form than Nolimits. Gotta keep this accessible!

I've got more, but that's enough for my lifetime.

Umm... is the RCT movie really happening? Honestly, I'd rather keep the games coming than have a movie. Movies have killed so many video games...

Super Mario Bros

Street Fighter

Doom

Tomb Raider

House of the Dead

........Just to name a few..........

$ony needs to back off.

^ That's funny that you said that about Sony because I have a new-found dislike for them. The PS3 sucks compare to what PC's can do now (I'm referring to the upcoming release of Mafia II and my mediocre PC platform is going to outperform the PS3 apparently ) and I think their business ethics are lame. I had a video on youtube that I used in my film makers class and it was disabled because I had to use some shots from "Inside Man" to illustrate a point. What a bunch of tight butts...

Pretty sure Theme Park World was for the PS One, as I had it. It was actually quite rare, and was not anything like RCT3 or the Sims. You basically got to choose from some carnaval type rides, that you could only plop down in a gird, and the roller coaster and track rides had a very limited construction scheme.

A decent game for the time, but even RCT surpassed it greatly.

Yes, but if the movie happens and is popular, then we've got an RCT4

There definitely is one for PS2.

Who says we have to suffer through a movie in order to get RCT4? And why take the chance to see if the movie will be popular when the games already ARE? I say no movie, Atari gives us RCT4 (and beyond) and for $ony to take a hike off a short cliff. They can "make-believe" an RCT movie all they want as long as it doesn't really happen.

^ By undo, I menat more for scenery. I cringe whenever I heard the "boom" sound, and I don't know where it decided to place something, like a tree in mid air. Trust me, it happens.

Dinosaur should never be undone!

Heck, I think we should run a Dinosaur Re/Creation Contest!

One tiny detail that I find a slight annoyance is only being able to build a camera on a straight bit of track. On some coasters, they have them mid-drop and on RCT in its current form, that's impossible. I would just like to be able to put a camera where ever I want on the track, even on an uninterrupted curve. Just a little thing I would like to be able to do.

Oh, and make it look slightly more attractive. It's kind of ugly at the moment. What with the tacky smiling faces and all.

I would like if you could make your own character and walk around, ride the rollercoasters and the person you make is the manager of the park!

Yeah but you can already do that in RCT3,just use the Johnny Watts cheat for a POV view.

When & if RCT4 debuts I hope the system requirements aren't insanely high like they were for RCT3,given the end results we got which are outdated by today's standards.I also would hope that they DON'T rush the release plus any add ons as there were alot of bugs with the EP's for RCT3....mainly the faulty registry keys that won't delete when you remove the game from your system.

^^ That is basically Thrillville.

An "undo" button is needed badly. Other than that, I cant think of anything that is not totally crazy.

Yeah, but RCT4 can be a BETTER version of ThrillVille, without feeling like a rip-off of the RCT series.

I don't think you're properly properly... uh... wait... what?

Anyway, I wonder if Atari will really give us what we want, and exactly how long will we have toi wait for this new RCT....

And here's another question:

Should it even be called RCT4? Why not called it something different... like "RCT Unlimited" or something... differenter...
