simon8899
When I was there last as a kid they still had the amazing Schwarzkopf coasters inside the artificial mountain that sadly burned down. But will re-visit next year to check out all the new coasters and rides...
gisco
Loved that park. Lots of great memories from 2010 when we were there with TPR.
better_by_design
Very nuts & bolts question - I'm assuming Phantasialand has lockers - does anyone have any idea if they have storage for a large backpack or roll-aboard suitcase? The website warns against "larger pieces of luggage". My scenario is that I'm going to Dusseldorf for work, but hope to visit Phantasialand the Sunday before starting, and am debating heading directly to the park from the Cologne airport (do not pass go, do not check into hotel until later) in order to maximize time for my first visit to this amazing looking park. It looks pretty easy to get to the park from the airport, but not sure what to do with my bags. Any advice is deeply appreciated!
larrygator
^How are you getting from the airport to the Park? Are you taking the train, is leaving your bags in storage at the airport train station an option?
Tezee
If you go by train you must pass Cologne Central Station (Köln HBF / Hauptbahnhof). At Cologne Trainstation you can deposit your baggage. Then you can take the STR 18 (Tram direction Bonn) to Brühl Mitte. Or the RE 5 or the RB 26 (direktion Koblenz) to Brühl Bahnhof. There you can go by bus to Phantasialand. And back the same. http://www.bahn.de/ There you can see it.

cfc
Phantasia land is a great, quirky park. I had no idea they were building a huge funhouse. Long live Hollywood Tour!
Trevannosaurus Rex
I normally take a taxi from Cologne to Phantasialand. I remember with a group of 4 it was very reasonable. But if you're on your own may be a bit more prohibitive. It's only about 30 minutes by taxi as well. Good luck!
