Hhappy Posted October 13, 2012 Author Posted October 13, 2012 How about a bullet coaster image? Happy Valley Shenzhen
cfc Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 Bullet was fun, if a bit shaky in parts (love the airtime over the first hill). Knight Valley's Wood Coaster was one of the better GCIs I've ridden.
Voxelmatic Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 I cannot believe anyone ever looked at a Toboggan and said "that would be so much better with a loop in it". That's what you get when you get the GP to design a coaster . Hanno, love that pic of the Bullet Coaster! I can't believe I haven't been on a coaster in nearly two months now... I need to get back to a park before the season is over!
larrygator Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 Hanno - thanks for that Bullet Coaster picture. When looking at certain people one can see what I was talking regarding how the lack of contour in the back portion of the seat makes it difficult to sit upright. Not a huge complaint, but makes for a awkward ride.
Hhappy Posted October 14, 2012 Author Posted October 14, 2012 how about a Stingray picture? This Vekoma machine at Giant Wheel Park was a nice surprise (i think)
molemaster43 Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 Looks like a very interesting ride. Unique interpretation of a flying coaster. Looks pretty fun.
simon8899 Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 We need more installations of this coaster...
cfc Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 ^While that would be nice, I doubt we'll see that happen, as the capacity is pretty low and they seem to have technical issues. Still, it does pack a wallop in a small footprint.
Hhappy Posted October 15, 2012 Author Posted October 15, 2012 Having fun at Floraland. Just another slc clone
Moose Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Fun? Was this a real slc? There were just too many to remember.
cfc Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 I think it was a clone--and one of the better ones, as I recall. (Of course, "better" is a relative term.)
Hhappy Posted October 16, 2012 Author Posted October 16, 2012 still one of my favorite rides (ever) Twister at Grona Lund. Looking forward to visiting this park again.
Meteornotes Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 ^Really want to visit that park again. One of the best in the world. dt
cfc Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 still one of my favorite rides (ever)Twister at Grona Lund. Looking forward to visiting this park again. And to hanging out with the "Twister Twins"?
Hhappy Posted October 17, 2012 Author Posted October 17, 2012 ok, time for another update. opening weekend in Spain, Shambhala at PortAventura
molemaster43 Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 Shambhala looks so fun. Awesome pic, Hanno!
Hhappy Posted October 19, 2012 Author Posted October 19, 2012 How about another China trip picture? from Happy Valley Beijing
Voxelmatic Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 Crystal Wings is a purdy ride! Nice shots Hanno .
cfc Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 Just shows how a little theming can much improve a standard B&M Flyer.
SoCalCoasters Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 Love the rather artistic flare in the first photo.
Guy T. Koepp Posted October 19, 2012 Posted October 19, 2012 still one of my favorite rides (ever)Twister at Grona Lund. Looking forward to visiting this park again. And to hanging out with the "Twister Twins"? It should be written in TPR law that no picture of this ride can be shown that does not include the twins.
Hhappy Posted October 21, 2012 Author Posted October 21, 2012 One of my favorite coaster types out there is the mega-lite coaster. Only bummer is that there are only 4 of them (at this time).. anyway.. this was in Japan at Tobu Zoo. Kawasemi
