BarryH Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 Screamscape.com posted this link to Clementon Amusement Park for sale: http://www.businessesforsale.com/Amusement-Park-Water-Park--For-Sale.aspx
SonOfBeastSucks Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 I would but I spend that much filling up my car with gas!
benzo41190 Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 everyone on this site should pool in there money and buy the park
SonOfBeastSucks Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 Right after we get enough money to buy the Six Flags chain!
Mind Eraser Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 Why would anybody want to buy Clementon? It's a total dump. There are only one or two good rides and the prices are steep. I would never ever go back, but J2 is too damn good!
YoshiFan Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 I don't think anyone will pay that much for it. If people want to visit a small park with a few rides, they can go to any of the many Jersey shore parks. Someone looking for a park with a lot of rides probably won't go to Clementon either and would probably end up going to Great Adventure. Maybe if they lowered admission, the park would do better. I think the regular admission is somewhere in the $25 range which seems like a lot for a park with so few rides. Or they could maybe switch to a pay per ride system like most of the shore parks have but still offer a wristband for unlimited rides as well.
Millenniumguy Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 Woohoo. It's the triumphant return of millenniumguy! Anyway, why charge $30 to a park with only one good coaster, lots of crappy handmedown spin and spew rides? $15 Million is an absurd price for Clementon!
Millenniumguy Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 Yeah, Joyland is a great park for $1.6 Million! I hope Cedar Fair buys it and refurbishes it. We can always dream right? I don't think anyone will buy Clementon unless they are a local coaster enthusiast with $15 Million to spare(I am a NJ person, but I don't have $15 Mill).
CoasterFanatic Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 I would also prefer Joyland. It is a steal compared to this. I imagine that the 16Mil has more to do with all the waterfront property. If you were to break it up and sell it, you would be in for a BIG payday.
dandaman Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 Right after we get enough money to buy the Six Flags chain! Why would you wanna do that?
