Who? Edge of Beast? Or this [censored]head?

Really? Temporary?
Batman's NEW Station! Wooo!!!

Doesn't seem like it was supposed to be temporary - you made such a big deal out of it.

This thread is bordering on "bad quality". Step up your presentation (and your grammar...), or I will be forced to lock the thread. You need to seriously take some time and think, "would I be proud of how this park looked if I actually owned it?".

EDIT: Don't reply to the thread saying, "I'm sorry" or "I will". Just take care of it. Please.

Locking a thread because it's not up to your personal standard? Geeze, that's a bit pretentious.

I think the park looks fine, better than alot of other parks I've seen in fact. It's really imaginative.

The only suggestion I have is to add some landscape. Bushes on the boarders of your paths can do wonders.

The public seems to have a love-hate relationship with us.

No problem.

The whole Corkscrew Coaster CTR thing is taken care of as well. Technically, she can post her link if one of us approves it first, and I approved it. I just told her to make sure she asks next time, since she still has a below 50 post count.

^ Thanks. I'm pretty sure I've told her that before.

I just perused SGW for the first time since the blow up which was in April (thought it was more recent). They're still bringing it up in random threads. Good grief, get over it you little fuckers.

I'm out the next four days for a much needed break....from everything.

If you see any troll posts move them in here, and alert ernierocker, or one of the other mods. Chances are they'll get them before you notice anyway. The newest rendition of TPR Sucks is most likely behind the latest attacks.

Bunch of loser fucknuts.

Possibly. You could cross-reference posts between the two to get a better idea.

On the other hand, I have three or four buddies here at Penn State who go onto Theme Park Review using the same IP address as me (Penn State's private wireless network).

OK everyone- I'm out of here for 10 days- Headed to San Francisco for medical stuff etc. but will be on occasion checking in/sending mail & messages. E-mail me if you need anything quickly, and if y'all could keep an eye out on the TPR Challenge, I'd mightly appreciate it!

Thanks!

I don't know, just the usual "TPR Game Exchange! RCT, NoLimits!" deal. But, since R.D. is starting the voting for the contest soon, i think a front page story would be better spent on that than just a generic plug.

Good question. It was supposed to be a while ago.

I'll take the helm, I guess. Give me a little bit.

EDIT: Done, and set as an announcement. This would be the best excuse for a front page update now.

FYI -

I kind of feel this takes away from some of the contests we do on our games forum, so, no, sorry, I'd rather not advertize another site's contest on our forums.

Hey Robb

I have a bit of an random question I'm afraid.

Every year I run a Christmas Competition at the RCT website New Element. Its just a simple competition with simple rules but I try and organise some good prizes each year and I try to encourage as many people as possible to take part.

I'm running the competition this year with Signed Copies of RCT from John Wardley and Simon Foster. (and hopefully a 3rd one will be announced over the next few days) Along with copies of the RCT board game, RCT keyrings and several copies of the games themselves.

Anyway the point of this PM is I wonder if you would mind if I posted an invite to TPR members to join the competition on NE this year in a post on the TPR RCT Forum. I think the prizes this year would be of interest to quite a few members.

The problem is I would have to request people have an NE account to enter. The way the judging system on NE works requires an account. Obviously this is kind of advertising another site on TPR and I thought I better check first. Technically the competition isn't an NE official thing and is run and funded solely by myself so I try and invite as many people from other sites as possible but Unfortunately I have to host the competition somewhere and In my opinion NE has the best infrastructure set up for such a competition and voting system, I would of course post a results post on the TPR forum and keep people informed.

If you are against this then I 100% understand. It is your site after all.

But It can't hurt to ask

Cheers

Dave

I don't think it's necessary to post an advert for NewElement's contest. A lot of our members who play RCT2 probably know about the contest anyway.

If they really want to talk about NewElement's contest, they could just chat about it like they usually do.

I'm on the fence over this one:

With the 'TPR Showdown' in place, 24 people are playing that already, and it appears to have tied up most of their resources (At least from what I've read in chat) attention wise. If the advertising being up was anything of note, sure, why not- save the fact they'd not be coming to us unless they weren't getting the traffic/attention for the game in the first place.

However: I'm already facing an up-hill sell due to the TPR showdown in the first place: As it is, I'm having to re-work the schedule for the TPR Track Challenge: Winter Wonderland (Title set) and have CPM's hoilday bonus go pretty much side- by - side to gain some traction with it.

In the end, I like the gesture, but advertising their contest here would probably overtax what we've already got going.
