The ride could be designed and/or built by IntaRide LLC, which is Intamin AG's US facility.

I'm guessing California Screamin'. It has two launched lift hills, the ride was extended recently when they added brakes to slow the ride down, it's an integral part of DCA's skyline, designed in Europe, built in the U.S.

That's all I got.

EDIT: Oh, and the ride name has two words.

Nope, Sorry.

You are not on the right track.

Is it in Va.

No.

The ride manufacturer is Giovanola. They've built two hyper coasters in the US, and they've both affected their respective parks' skylines.

American Eagle at SFGAm. Two lift hills, two tracks, two words. Major trim brakes have extended the ride. It's a huge coaster on the skyline. Designed by Europeans, built in America (also red, white, and blue), and Intamin was the company who built it, and they are located in Zurich.

If this isn't right, I'm getting a beer. That way I'll win regardless.

Zurich is in Switzerland, the manufacturer is Swiss.

Yes, but there is a little more to this clue than just manufacturer.

The ride manufacturer is Intamin, which is located in Zurich Switzerland.

They were at one time!

Hmm, were they involved as well???

Go get a beer.

Is Zurich significant to the manufacturer of the coaster?

Somewhat significant.

The ride was an Intamin roller coaster with Giovanola hired on as a subcontractor (like the Intamin stand-ups).

Ah, Intamin did use giovanola as a subcontractor on those!

Lightning Bolt! MGM Grand Adventures!

Two lift hills, 2nd was an extension, European manufacturers, built in the USA, subcontracted by Giovanola!

Yes! You get a beer and WIN!

Argh, I was really close that time.

I didn't think of Lightning Bolt because it wasn't operating. Well played.

The correct answer is Lightning Bolt.

Steve gets two points for guessing the correct answer added to his total earned in previous rounds.

Here is the final standings:

^Thanks! There was a discussion about this ride some time ago on here, it might have even been guessed in one of the old contests in this thread. It always stuck out in my head as weird that they added a 2nd lift hill. Then I saw the ride name in the Giovanola list on RCDB and it hit me. My head hurts.

Well, there goes an hour of my life I'll never get back.
