Jeezus Juice
But its an boiled egg wrapped in sausage, dipped in eggs, rolled in breadcrumbs and baked! Â I'm not an egg person anyway though so I wouldn't suspect I'd enjoy it anyway. Â Glad someone likes 'em though!

Sir Clinksalot
Scotch Eggs are just a normal snack here in England, nothing unusual at all. Â They are really nice. But then I love Sausagemeat.....
Sir Clinksalot
You can't beat a scotch egg. They are fantastic. You can eat them in so many different ways; eat the outside first and then the egg, or rip it open and eat the egg first, or if you are really hungry, just cram it all in your mouth at once. Â mmmmmmmmm scotch eggs!
BelizeIt
That sounds very tasty! Â At our local Orange County fair this year, was a very popular food item, which was an Avocado sliced in half, then stuffed with Carna Asada and cheese, which of course was then was then deep fryed! Yum!!! Â When your at the Orange County Fair your "Diet" goes out the window. Â Another popular item of course is the famous battered soaked, deep fryed, Snickers bar! Calories and Fat be Damned!!! ebl
Not being much for eggs, I believe I'll pass this up. But I'm glad for those of you do enjoy them. Â As for snacks, I'll just stick to pie, thank you. Â Eric

Chrissie
This is weird, I totally thought Scotch Eggs were around world wide! Hehe! Â You can dip them into sauce, But they r quite small so usually they r just eaten on their own.

trustkill22
HP is so good. Pure Canadian.
Chrissie
^ The HP advert in the UK quotes it as The Sauce of Great Britain...Lol!
Sir Clinksalot
"HP Sauce was launched upon the world by Edward Samson Moore, owner of the Midland Vinegar Company in 1903. The MVC was established in Tower Road, Aston Cross, Birmingham, ENGLAND in 1875"  The above quote came from hpfoods.com  So, I guess it's pure ENGLISH! trustkill22
No it's Canadian because I believe everything that is good is Canadian. But don't make a big deal about this because its just my way of thinking.
Chrissie
^ Ok, Whatever makes u happy
Sir Clinksalot
^ Actually I am prepared to make a big deal about a foreigner claiming that something English belongs to them! Â You should be grateful that this superior country decides to export HP Sauce to a country like yours. Can't Canada make it's own sauce? Obviously not. Â Stop saying it's yours, because it simply isn't, ok? Â BTW, Michael Schumacher is great, but he is still german, not canadian.
Sir Clinksalot
No it's Canadian because I believe everything that is good is Canadian. But don't make a big deal about this because its just my way of thinking. Â Okay, so even though it's made in England, has always been made in England and most likely will always be made in England then it's Canadian ? Â That not only makes no sense but it's also bloody stupid. That's like me claiming that the Moon is English, because it's a good thing! or that the Internet is English, because it's a good thing. Completely nonsensical. Â Besides, everyone knows the only GOOD thing to come from Canada is Bioware Corp.

Sir Clinksalot
Anyway, back on topic.... Scotch Eggs, as well as Pork Pie, with ENGLISH HP (or Daddies but preferably HP) Brown Sauce are gorgeous. Â You can also find different variations of Scotch Egg. There are versions with different sausagemeat (Lincolnshire, Cumberland etc.) and versions with flavoured eggs (the only one that comes to mind is curried) too. jray21
I can't believe I haven't heard of Scotch Eggs or HP sauce! I'm definitely going to be making these eggs soon, and buying some HP sauce.
