Frade Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 Hey all My trip to SFOG was cool, it wasn’t full of people and we bought the Q-bot thing. We rode all the rides, saw all the shows ( shows were boring , lol ), we were lucky and Déjà vu was working, we rode it 3 times ( now I have ridden the one at SFMM and this one ). Acrofobia is the best free fall I have ever been on Superman is very cool and smooth like all B&M’s Enjoy the pics. Mmmm, Batman sign and more..... lol And more... Mmm, more batman Deja Vuuu Batman Wet zone, no thanks On ride photo, hahaha lol Guess, we did not ride it No comment The first thing you see at the entrance... More green track that likes to be under water when it rains, lol Deja Vu Cool coaster, lol Oooo, its ac -ro -pho -bi -a ( lat ) Its a small world after all..... what.... nooo, its Monster Plantation, the cool thing was that one really fat guy was sitting at the front and the boat was sinking, and we were in a 45° position, we really thought that the water was goint to start gettin Cool picture, but we did not rode it. Ninja, really crazycoaster, and hurts Batman Green Track??? Oooo Riddlers Acrofobia is falling down, falling down, falling down... lol Georgia ... My bro & I at the entrance

Hattuchili Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 First of all, thanks for posting the small pictures. It was so interesting to take a look at the photos with my magnifier. Okay, all in all it looks like you had some fun there. Thanks for posting. --Sören
EpcotLova Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 Im glad you had fun! If they could only improve the customer service and ride ops
Sir Clinksalot Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 Awesome TR. I love SFOG. One of my favorite Six Flags parks.
Sir Clinksalot Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 Great pictures!! SFoG is my favorite SF park by far. Thanks for sharing!!! Kristi "Superman is the best!!!" C.
CoasterCrazy Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 ^Did you ride Superman in the last row? The best row on Superman is the last row!
Erik Johnson Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 What day did you go to the park? We went to the park on 7/29/05 and both Deja-Vu and Mindbender were closed. Great TR by the way
DejaVu4Life Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 Deja Vu has run very, very well since May 1. It's nice to see it run again
EpcotLova Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 Agreed, Deja Vu is pretty darn good. Superman: Ultimate Flight on the last row is the best, ill agree!
Frade Posted August 3, 2005 Author Posted August 3, 2005 Thanks for your comments Sören, you are welcome for my tiny pictures, lol Yes Jarmor I rode the great gasp Hey EpcotLova thanks, and I agree totally with you, the ride ops were awful. Thanks Gregg, I think the park is very cool and beautiful and also is one of my favorite Six flags because my favorite is Six flags Mexico. And I rode Superman on all the rows, I rode it 12 times, lol
bgwfreak Posted August 10, 2005 Posted August 10, 2005 There's something odd about that Deja Vu pic. It shows it running!
F1shy Posted August 11, 2005 Posted August 11, 2005 Woo! I just moved from Georgia... I went to SFOG three times in the last 2 weeks I was there lol. I have to agree that Acrophobia is the greatest freefall ride I've ever been on. Trying to get my friends on that was a hoot, because most of them have a fear of freefalling. I was at SFOG a couple days after the last hurricane that swept over Georgia, and Mindbender (green coaster) was partially underwater. The bottom half of the loop in one of your pics was completely hidden in the water left behind by Dennis (I think...) It was pretty cool to look at... Too bad I didnt have any pics of it. And the $8 parking lot was closed, because that was completely covered in dirt/mud, and for some odd reason I have a pic of that somewhere on my comp... I have 2 favorite rides there... One has to be the Great American Scream Machine. Sitting at the VERY BACK of the train is a blast. You get so much air time on all of the hills. If you ever go to SFOG again, sit at the very back of GAmSM, you won't be disappointed. Did you manage to see Splashwater Falls run? Gah, what a disappointment. It's horrible. That has to be one of the worst water rides I've ever seen. Well anyway, I've written too much. I'm glad you got to experience one of the South's Greatest lol.
