thrillrideseeker Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 The park is looking good! I really like the Italian restaurant! Its looking good! Keep up the good work! ~Matthew
astroworldfan1 Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 Are the bolded letters trying to tell us something? -Tatum
DBru Posted December 21, 2008 Author Posted December 21, 2008 ^^Na I just went through and bolded random letters. (Listen to Tatum!)
Steffen_Dk Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 I really like how you've themed the pirate boat, although it's rather simple, it still looks very good. The Italian restaurant is unfortunately not one of my favourites; to me it looks more like some kind of crooked house (is that the right word?). But it will might look better when you put up stuff in it's nearness..
DBru Posted December 22, 2008 Author Posted December 22, 2008 CONSTRUCTION UPDATE Today's update brings you the parks star attraction; BOBCAT! Bobbie is GCI's newest, and most wicked creation. The layout includes lots of cool elements, such as this large fan-turn. The ride's finale over a small pond looks fun, as well! Overview. Bobcat and PARC Paradise are getting very close to completion, and May is quickly approaching! Hope you enjoyed the update!
thrillrideseeker Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 Oh wow! I am loving the fan turn around in the second picture! The coaster looks great! I can not wait to see what the next update has in store for us! ~Matthew
Chronoteeth Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 Heey, I have a request, could you take a snap shot of the whole park please?
Steffen_Dk Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 Those helix-into-a-drop-drops are becoming quite popular these days; it looks really good..
DBru Posted December 22, 2008 Author Posted December 22, 2008 Thanks for the comments, guys! And yeah, Steffen, I was hesitant to use that kind of ever-so-popular drop, but it was the only way I could make it look the way I wanted... ^^Merry Christmas! PARC Paradise overview!
BelgianGuy Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Thats simply amazing. Makes the rct2 woodie making look like nothing
Steffen_Dk Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 I imagined this to look so much different from how it actually looks; it looks even better than I thought. I love the place you've chosen for the woodie - right next to the entrance make a great feeling when you enter the park.
Thelegendarymatthew Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 ittle tip I learned about GCIs. Dont make the trees in the inside, make them on the outside. I know, I know, mine has trees too. People tell me the BIG stuff after I make them. So just watch it with the foliage. Nice park overall -Matthew.K
DBru Posted December 24, 2008 Author Posted December 24, 2008 Thanks for the comments, guys! And why, Matt? Prowler has trees all around it...lol
Thelegendarymatthew Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 ^Prowler has them all around it. Plus, its more of a spaced out GCI. If you look at the overviews of the GCIs you will see that most of them dont have trees inside the main track, how ever you have them on the outside of the track. -Matthew.K
astroworldfan1 Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 ^ Just because no GCIs have trees inside the track, Dbru can't have his on the inside? -Tatum "In the land of RCT, anything is possible" G. P.S.: Tree inside of Thunderhead.
coasterfreak101 Posted December 25, 2008 Posted December 25, 2008 This might be the first time I've ever actually liked an RCT GCI. Congratulations.
cinciDAWGS12 Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 It's looking great! I can't wait to see the next update.
DBru Posted December 30, 2008 Author Posted December 30, 2008 Thanks for the comments, guys! Glad you like Bobcat... ----------------------- CONSTRUCTION UPDATE Well construction continues as we enter into the New Year! Nothing major has been added, but progress has been made. Thrill PARC Theatre is a 4D motion simulator. I'm not sure what the opening film will be... A classic scrambler, bought from the Myrtle Beach Pavilion (RIP), has been added as the Timber Twister. Hmm...KidZone? More soon!
BelgianGuy Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 WOW looks very nice!!! You really schould build another CS park because you're way better than what stock rct2 gives you to work with
Kingbooba Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 I'm Lovin' it! Honestly though, I don't think any of your parks will ever beat your Dogwood Lake Park! R.I.P
thrillrideseeker Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 Oh my stars! Sweet niblets! Thrill PARC Theatre is a 4D motion simulator looks amazing! Great work on the building! I can not wait for the next update! You are doing so well with this park! Keep up the amazingly wonderful work! ~Matthew
DBru Posted January 19, 2009 Author Posted January 19, 2009 CONSTRUCTION UPDATE Hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas break, I know I sure did, but now it's time to bring you more updates from PARC Paradise! KidZone is complete. While nothing special, it is sure to bring joy to some of our younger guests. Pictured here is the Family Ghost Train, a dark ride which sort of knocks-off Scooby's Haunted Castle, and the station to this sections only coaster, Dragonfly. Dragonfly is a custom Tivoli model. Despite being small, it has a surprisingly fun, long layout. We have planned for the installation of one more coaster, and then Grand Opening! Hope to see you soon...
