Swedish Sisters go mad on UK Motorway

Saw this on Motorway Cops last night. Two Swedish women, both sisters run into the oncoming traffic on one of Britain's busiest motorways.

 

What the hell they were thinking I don't know.

I saw this on the news the other day. They were just crazy, they just kept trying to get into the road. Oh well . Either drugs or plain nuts.

The video on YouTube has the cops saying they've only seen that kind of strength from people under drugs, so the women may have been on drugs. Or it could have been a suicide pact. Maybe a little from column A and a little from column B.

 

I wonder why the cops there don't have Mace. That could have maybe stopped that woman from fighting them and running back into traffic.

UK police are under a far tighter leash than those in the US. People complain all the time to the IPCC (Independant Police Complaints Comission). These complaints sometimes are simply seeking compensation. As a result of these complaints British police have very little power.

For instance in the US, when cops shoot someone and kill them it will cause a big fuss but thats it. A couple of years ago British police shot Jean Charles de Menezes mistaking him for a terrorist. I won't comment on my opinion of the case but it has ended up costing the British tax payer millions of pounds and it has remained near the top of the news for quite a while. You could say, and I am only saying 'could' that British police are often not very forceful as a result of political correctness gone mad.

Beat cops have CS spray, but I dont think they give it to the traffic cops, as they arent expected to need it. Or they just wont splash out the money to equip them with it.

That's just crazy! Not to promote the idea of suicide or anthing like that, but there must be more effective and quicker ways to do it than running into traffic.

 

On another note, I am a bit surprised that the U.S. police forces are not put under tighter leashes with all of the news stories that come about police brutality complaints.
