Both of these prototype coasters offer an amazing first drop at 90 degrees (or for Euro fighters, some more than 90 degrees), but which delivers the better ride experience overall?

I can't vote on this as I have not ridden either type of coaster...yet.

I haven't ridden a Euro Fighter yet (so I haven't voted) but honestly I was disappointed by Griffon this summer. It really had very little in the way of forces even at the far outside of the rows. The drops are cool but after that there really isn't anything much to speak of.

I really want to try some Euro Fighters because they look aggressive.

I guess I'm the first to vote that have been on both. I've been on Griffon which was cool, but it was just lacking... something. It wasn't really fun, it kind of just did it's stuff. The drop was cool and all.

Then I've been on Spongebob's Rockbottom Plunge. That was extremely fun the entire way through. The drop was really fun, and unlike Griffon, the ride is fun the rest of the way through. What Gerstlaur does with the ride makes the experience far greater, the inversions are all well placed while B&M dives seem to just be just "filler" track to make it more than just an Oblivion. I also don't find the holding brake before the drop all taht great, and i feel it kind of detracts from the drop experience.

As soemone who as been on both of them its hard to pick. B%M gives the longer drop but Eurofighters give the longest ride...

I've been on both, though not the newer B&M Dive machines. Euro fighters can really give you a few sharp whacks in the head during their quick transitions but offer intense airtime and strong Gs. Oblivion is fun for what it does but is not nearly as exciting as the euro fighters I've been on (typhoon and Speed)

This is why I hate these pointless polls.

You really can't answer the question until you've been a very good sampling of both types of coasters.

So far I've been on 4 B&M Dive Machines and 4 Euro Fighters.

I would say that only 1 of the Euro Fighters I would consider a "Top Tier" coaster (Speed) while 2 of the B&M's (SheiKira and Dive Coaster) were top tier.

The others were all "good" but nothing that would crack my top 50. (and when you've been on over 1,000 coasters that's a good list to be in.)

So until the Euro Fighters can be more consistently smoother and feel more like a permanent attraction and less of a "portable", I'd go with a good B&M Dive Machine.
