Garet, I'll add any (Non-kiddie) ride that exists to the index. A few years ago, when I had more free time, I went through every major park's website (or map if I had one) and cross checked all the existing rides with the one listed in TPR's Park Index. Since that time I have tried to keep take of any new rides as they are announced (In my "What's New for 20__?" threads). However, not all park's make formal announcements and many of the foreign park non-coaster announcements (especially in Asia) are never reported to TPR. So it is only natural that some rides are missing because I don't know about them.

 

I'm sure the Park Index also has a lot of rides listed as open that have been removed.

Over the Falls at Martin's Fantasy Island only lasted a season and was sold off to a traveling show in the UK. I'll get pics of the new Music Express when I go, though.

Here are some photos I had taken of Canada's Wonderland's new for 2015 ride, Slingshot. I do have some photos of Typhoon and Splash Station which were also new to Splashworks last year but, I decided not to post them. Also, here are a few photos of Canada's Wonderland's 2016 additions which are Skyhawk and Flying Eagles! I hope my photos add to this amazing index!

 

Here is a photo of Slingshot in action on May 6th, 2016. It was new to the park for the 2015 season.

 

Here is a photo of my twin brother and I (I am on the right) just about to launch skyward during our second ride on Slingshot. This photo was taken on September 1st, 2015.

Ride sign for Hurricane at Everland and Championship Rodeo pictures. Also Big Wheel is permanently retired, it has a memorial out front and they just use it as a giant night light. K-Pop Hologram was redesigned and given a new facade, name and new show if that counts as closed. House of Oz was removed after the accident and replaced with a custom made kids rope course forEverland (as opposed to Oz which could have been on a travelling carnival) so that's definitely closed and Madagascar Live! has also left the park.

 

Global Village has been torn down to be replaced by something else but they could just be replacing the whole system to make Global Village 2.0.

 

Lotte World: Ride sign for Pirate, it's name is the Conquistador.

 

What with this and me talking to myself in the Everland thread trying to keep the news up to date, I should really visit the title fairy over my Korean park OCD.

A few updates from The Great Escape, Boomerang has been renamed Flashback as part of a renovation of that area of the park due to the addition of Greezed Lightnin', also Thunder Alley received a new sign, as well as the station and the cars getting a new paint job . Also after looking at the Park Index for the Great Escape I noticed that the Pirate was not marked as a closed ride but it closed at the end of the 2013 season.

No problem, and not to be a pain in the you know what but I noticed you marked all the other rides I listed as closed except for The Pirate at The Great Escape (you may have missed it as it was at the end of my first post). Sorry for being a nitpicker I guess it's just my ocd lol

Hi Larry. It's been a while since I've posted to the forum, but I made a visit to Cliff's Amusement Park a few weeks ago and thought you might be interested in a few pics of their new SBF Visa spinner.

^Do you know if they removed a ride to put this in? I know it's a small footprint and it appears to go under one of the empty areas around Rattler, but just checking.

I'm not 100% sure as it was my first trip to Cliff's. The coaster took the space of two Kiddyland rides; it looks like the Baja Buggies were relocated to within Rattler's turn around. I'm not sure what the other kiddie ride is, but based on what locals were saying, it's no longer around.

 

Red is where the coaster is. The Baja Buggie ride closest to the road was relocated to within Rattler's turn. Not sure of the fate of the other ride, or what it even was.
