DBru Posted June 2, 2008 Posted June 2, 2008 I understand your frustration with the lag... (that's why I switched to RCT2, and I'm glad I did!) The park is still beautiful though.
angryemobeaver Posted June 3, 2008 Author Posted June 3, 2008 Thanks for the replies, i really appreciate them! My computer is doing better so that means more updates! Ill have one more this week, and than after Coaster Mania, ill have another update. What the heck...? Wow! And there more... Alot more... I know what it's going to be... here is a hint!
angryemobeaver Posted June 4, 2008 Author Posted June 4, 2008 Thanks for the replies! And you'll all see what it is in a few days (sunday) Welcome back to Hershey Park Tennessee, the coaster (or what ever the park is building) hasn't been announced yet, but the park did say this. The construction you have seen by Kidsville and Main Street is not for this season, you will find out what this creation is going to be next season. But the park did get something new for this season! Replacing the old Hershey's Kissing Tower is the brand new Hershey Tower. It is over 200ft. tall and it features two observation decks! You can take the elevator, or the stairs to get to the top! And stay as long as you want! It is almost like SFMM's, but a little smaller. But it is tall! It can be seen from inside the park, And outside the park! There are great views! More soon...
DBru Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 The new tower looks great! I didn't even know you could make those using RCT3...lol
angryemobeaver Posted June 5, 2008 Author Posted June 5, 2008 The new tower looks great! I didn't even know you could make those using RCT3...lol There is a CS for it...and thanks!
angryemobeaver Posted June 10, 2008 Author Posted June 10, 2008 Well ive been pretty busy lately, so i havent gotten time to update. A few days ago while i was at Cedar Point, Hershey announced the new coaster; Lightning Bolt! Official logo (made by me) The entrance to the ride The station Alot of the ride It's pretty massive! I like how it twistes under and over alot. Instead of the Millennium Flyer trains like on Thunderbolt, Lightningbolt got three car trains The turn-around is the only part of the ride that hurts It's tallest hill is 148.4ft. tall and the top speed is 66mph. Lightning, twice as powerful as thunder! Just like Thunderbolt, Lightningbolt ends with a helix More soon...
Steffen_Dk Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 Great coaster, but I think that the first air time hill as a weird shape at the top.
DBru Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 I love everything about it...except the station! lol Great addition!
cinciDAWGS12 Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 I agree the station is a little bland. But I really like the ride.
angryemobeaver Posted June 14, 2008 Author Posted June 14, 2008 I actually hate the station, i was just tired and was too lazy to make a nicer one. Ill fix it later.
angryemobeaver Posted June 26, 2008 Author Posted June 26, 2008 Sorry i haven't updated for a long while, i have been busy. I also hate Lightning Bolt's station but i can't replace it cause my game las very badly and it takes about 5 minutes just for the list of walls to come up. Sorry. For some odd reason, the water turned black for about 10 seconds. I don't know why this thing is on the train tracks, but hopefully it will be removed before the train runs over it. Ruby Tuesday is doing great still, i get the new crab cake sandwich. The bathroom facility next to Mini Miner got painted a yellow-ish color. No caption needed I really like Fahrenheit's station and queue. The Sky Tower is tall I still think Thunder is better than Lightning. More soon...
DBru Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 Still looking good! The black water is very strange, though...
HPCrazy Posted July 4, 2008 Posted July 4, 2008 I love that Skytower. Where did you get the CS for that?
angryemobeaver Posted July 15, 2008 Author Posted July 15, 2008 Great Bear is a great invert, it doesn't get much attention though Trepidation is amazing, it's my favorite coaster at the park I love the cheesy fake buffalo heard Notice anything different? Hershey River Falls is gone Today, the park was closed to the public for a coaster event Invertigo, and Appalachian Plunge are both rumored to be removed Overview of park More soon
NASA Guy Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 I bet the Hershey River Falls area could be used very well for a new Coaster, I'm thinking a B&M Sit-Down?
angryemobeaver Posted September 19, 2008 Author Posted September 19, 2008 Wait a minute... Invertigo, Appalachian Plunge... where did they go? They were removed due to high mantience costs. Lightning Bolt was removed too, because there was a support failure near the turnaround and 13 people had to go to the hospital and 2 died. HPT needs more Intamins! Lightning Bolt was replaced by a huge Skycoaster, called Skycoaster! This part of the park is dead, maybe there will be something new soon.. More soon!
DBru Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 Nice to see a new update; I really like this park! Was Lightning Bolt a woodie?
jpdupuis Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 I'M wondering...how do you do these 97 degrees drop???
Thelegendarymatthew Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 ^When making an extended coaster. You need to make it in the vertical position and then you go to the circle with the different helix degrees and such. Go to the opposite side of what it was marked! Hope I helped
angryemobeaver Posted January 27, 2009 Author Posted January 27, 2009 I decided to quit this park, the lag was horrible, some of the coasters were very unrealistic, same with buildings. Over the past few months I have been working on a new park that focuses on old classic rides and architecture rather than coasters. I hope to have that park up on the forums soon!
