jason10 Posted December 22, 2007 Posted December 22, 2007 The Falitix DisasterToday at approx. 3:31 a.m., the company Falitix, a company thought to have gone bust, has made another, unexpected enterance into the world... The factory based in the Halidine Forrest, Exeter - England, had a major malfunction in their main core of the building. A faulty 'unknown object' malfunctioned, even after the daily thorough inspection earlier that morning. The malfunction caused a spark in the main core reactor being used on their new 'unknown' project. This then caused genarators next to it, to catch alight. The fire broke out spreading through the other rooms of the factory. Their latest project had something to do with nuclear power and unstable elments such as promethium and lutetium. Halidine Forrest is now radioactive and a 100 mile radius evacuation zone has been put into place. FALITIX X - Coming 1st of January
jason10 Posted December 23, 2007 Author Posted December 23, 2007 Falitix Gone WeirdAfter the recent outburst of Falitix, they have renamed themselves Falitix X. To many, this is an unnecessary action as, all will know, The Falitix Disaster tore down their company in one clean sweep. For everyone, no one knoews what, who or why the company is still running. This seems inmpossible as there is no money for them to run on. Latest news and information shows there is some activity going on at the procised point on the radioactive zone where their core reactor used to be, only this activity is underground. No one can acces this area due to an invisilbe barrier blocking anyone of thing getting to it. At this moment in time, only time will tell what is really happening beneath that barrier. Falitix X - Coming January 1st
jason10 Posted December 23, 2007 Author Posted December 23, 2007 Falitix X - All Gone To Plan?Today, a company leak has revealed that everything has gone to plan. The fire was a cover up story for a sinister government conspiricy. There was no fire: only an activated radioactive machine to leak out radioctivity into the surrounding area. This radioactivity is necessary for a machine, which the government has been funding, to work. This machine is meant to act as a transporter of somesort. No one really knows what will happen if someone were to get into this transporter. Some say you go through a worm hole. Some say you are whisked off into the depths of space. No one knows. The plans for this transporter were sent to earth from a signal of some sort. The signal was then interpreted and was drwn out as plans. So far everything works but, the area and many lives has been devistated by human curiosity. More updates on this stroy in the next paper. Falitix X - Coming January 1st
jason10 Posted December 29, 2007 Author Posted December 29, 2007 Hi, I'm Ryan and I work for the company making those news articles you've seen. Don't tell anyone but I sneaked into the area and had a sneak peak at that 'transporter' thing that is there. It is heavily guarded so I couldn't get up close but I hope these shots are ok. Remember. This is just between you and me. Keep it a secret! Looks strange doesn't it!
Ed Posted December 29, 2007 Posted December 29, 2007 I see a topic, with no download, and screenshots of trees. Way to go.
jason10 Posted December 29, 2007 Author Posted December 29, 2007 I see a topic, with no download, and screenshots of trees. Way to go. Yeah I know! Isn't it great?
IwantRevenge Posted December 29, 2007 Posted December 29, 2007 Dude those tree are awesome! are they oak or maple?
jason10 Posted January 1, 2008 Author Posted January 1, 2008 Boom, Crash, Gone! Today, the Falitix X transporter machine was fired up and tested. A John Smith, a worker and the Falitix X Plant, volentered to be the first man to step on the machine. He was strapped in firmly and securly, making sure he wouldn't fall out. The engines were fired. John made his last words before he left the building going out for the machine to work. 'Tell my family I love them.' On exiting the boarding platform, there was a loud boom. No one at the factory had any idea what was happening. Evetualy, it was deemed fit to carry on. Soon, a blinding flashing came from the 'car' John was situated in. No one knew where he was. The, suddenly, a deafning noise which could only be described as a plane taking off was present. It went on for about 30 seconds until the car came back empty, and John wasn't found. A thoughrough investigtion is being held into whether the experiment was successful or not. After all, he was meant to go somewhere and not stay in the car. Wasn't he? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now you must embark on an epic adventure, stepping foot on the car in an atempt to find John! Will your mission be successful? RIDE TO THE OTHER SIDE - FALITIX X ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment please and make constructive criticism. Not, 'it was rubbish', 'hated it', 'teriible' and so on. Thanks, enjoy! Falitix X Heartlined Successfully.nltrack For those of you who can't get track pakager to work or just don't have it! Falitix X Heartlined Successfully.nlpack My first attempt at creating objects, nothing much.
dr.gumbo Posted January 1, 2008 Posted January 1, 2008 Very impressive, it was smooth, original and had a nice theme. I like the way you released it also, however one criticizm is that its not the most entertaining ride in the world, don't know why I think that, I just do. Still, fantastic effort!
jason10 Posted January 1, 2008 Author Posted January 1, 2008 ^ Thank you very much! Yeah. I kinda felt that way about it aswell, but if it was real, then It would certainly pack a puch. I think so anyway.
jason10 Posted January 1, 2008 Author Posted January 1, 2008 Doesn't pass E-stop test. Does it pass the 'I like it test' or the 'It was good test'? But your comment doesn't pass the 'Informative test'.
Steffen_Dk Posted January 1, 2008 Posted January 1, 2008 ^It passes the "it-was-good-test" I thought it was pretty fun - not extremely fun, but okay fun. It then it was really smooth too.. I liked it!!
Théo the little french Posted January 1, 2008 Posted January 1, 2008 Great job! The ride was really smooth, Gs were perfect and the support work is good too! Moreover, I believe you made the heart lines yourself, right?
jason10 Posted January 1, 2008 Author Posted January 1, 2008 ^ Actually, no I didn't. I used AHG. First time that I have actually used it on a coaster! Sorry to dissapoint. ^^ Thanks for the comment! I appreciate it a lot! Keep 'em coming!
Loefet Posted January 2, 2008 Posted January 2, 2008 Doesn't pass E-stop test. Does it pass the 'I like it test' or the 'It was good test'? But your comment doesn't pass the 'Informative test'.Ok, to make the post more informative: No it doesn't pass the "I like it test" because it doesn't pass E-stop test. But that's the way I see it, if your coaster can't pass basic tests like tunnel-testing and E-stop testing to test safety of the ride then the coaster isn't done yet and need more work, and thats why I wont like it, only after it's completely done then I could say if I liked it or not. Some other thing to think about: You don't have to have 3 trains and a dual station setup for this short track, a more realistic approach would be a 1 station ride running 2 trains. You have to work on your supports, the track is under supported, and those square stuff under the lift-hill wouldn't work in reality. Other things about the supports are, never attach 2 tubes to a footer or a track node connection. And I don't like AHG:d track since it takes away from your build style and often makes tracks worse then they are, which could be felt on several points during this ride. But that is my preference in track designing and I also want to create tracks that are as close to reality as possible.
rollerboy Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 Firstly I think the layout was good, fun, thrilling. Secondly the way you released it made it so much better! But i agree that 3 trains is to many for this ride but overall 8/10
DBru Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 It was pretty good, some "iffy" turns and hills, but I liked it!
thrillrideseeker Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 Hey! Good coaster! The only thing I noticed was that your coaster did not pass the tunnel test. Other than that it was good. Nothing to exciting but I mean the layout was kind of blah... not very high or fast but I guess height and speed is not everything ~Matthew
