65skylark Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 Yeah, a Honda Accord is better constructed. It is all about performance with the Z06. For a car that comes off the show room floor with a top speed of almost 200mph and a 1/4 mile in the low 11 second range, you can't get anything even CLOSE to that for the same price as a Z06. They are dirt cheap when you are talking about those kinds of numbers. PLus, to me, they look every bit as good as a high end European supercar in the $200,000+ price range. So that is really the appeal for me.
TheStig Posted November 21, 2007 Author Posted November 21, 2007 Crap, we're talking cars! Nobody is getting any sleep tonight! ^Never thought of it that way, but you're right, you do get a lot of bang for your buck with that car. Im just interested to see what's going to happen when the GTR hits the market in 08 for roughly the same price and power (480hp, 25 shy of the Z06). Of course I expect people to be loyal to the Vette, but seeing that the GTR is like the Corvette of Japan, it should sell well too. I dont know where Im going with this, but yeah, cars are pretty awesome.
