When you say "No annoying commentary", I'm assuming you're referring to commentaries on other (non-TPR) commercially available DVDs, as there've never been any annoying commentaries on any of the TPR releases! If anything, since there's no music, we'll be able to hear your excellent on-ride commentaries better! "Wheeeeeee!"

Just watched the RAW DVD and I must that Robb and Elissa did a great job. I wasn't too sure how I would like this DVD since I love to see crazy TPR antics and such but this was fun to watch. I don't know if it was the pacing and how you guys edited but it wasn't boring at all.

No offense guys, but I found your earlier "Coaster Footage" DVD's (the first couple of volumes) to be boring at times just because there's random music in the background the keep the audience "entertained" while watching. This was nothing like that and it was funny at times to listen to the riders.

Things I liked: I liked your commentary on Eeja-whatever-eeka. Looks like I'm in no rush to get over there. The Bonus Footage on the steel disc brings back memories and that was the best ride of the trip.

Things that weren't so great: Honestly, I wasn't a fan of what looked like footage that you receive from certain parks. The helicopter flying next to Tatsu and over Kingda Ka. When I get a TPR DVD I want to see what you guys shoot because you guys can shoot some amazing shots. The footage the parks provided was good filler but the Kingda Ka video looked more like a video the park releases...unless that's what you were going for.

Anyway, enough rambling and giving my two pennies...great job and keep it you guys.

Robb and Elissa kick @$$

Yeah, that's pretty much what it was. Almost all B-Roll. I pretty much feel the same way. I like the footage we shoot much better also. But when the park will only allow you to use certain footage, you make do with what you've got to work with!

Glad you liked it!!!

^ Seriously, if your parents wouldn't let you have something that says "Uncensored" "Untamed" and "Wild!" over a bunch of roller coasters and NOT get the joke then you shouldn't even be reading this forum...

Here...I will say something MUCH dirtier than what can be found on that DVD....

ANAL!

Oh, wait...you already said that!

Seriously, there is NOTHING OFFENSIVE about this:

^ What Robb isn't telling you is that I put secret X-Rated messages and images into the design that you can only see if you invert the image, raise the Gamma to 62 and do a Color Replace for all yellow mid-tones. So don't let your parents do that, or they will get SERIOUSLY offended.

What part wouldn't they get? "It's like porn for coaster enthusaists?" or the list of rides and parks?

I still do not understand or believe that people would have a problem with that or not get the joke.

There is NOTHING OFFENSIVE on the cover at all!!!

The humor on this site is well known for being "PG-13" rated. Are you not at least 13, vffreak? You have to start sticking up for yourself or your parents will walk all over you your whole life.

And Robb...for the footage you weren't able to shoot yourself, do you plan on doing so if you get ERT at SFGAd next summer? I really thought the voice heard on the El Toro POV was you.

^ It really depends on the park. And quite honestly, while I would really LOVE to, I'm not sure there is too much of a point to release yet another POV "now shot by TPR..." other than some random comments on the audio, it would look pretty much the same....

The POV discs are what they are...POV discs. We will include as much TPR filmed footage as possible, but we don't really mind using the park footage when we have to.
