Yeah, I think I'm going to try to make it out to this. I'm planning to go to Mammoth Cave next month. So, I can just stop by Beech Bend the night before I hit Mammoth. They're only about 30 miles apart, or so. I'm a little concerned about riding in the freezing cold, but oh well.

Hmm...an hour south of L-Ville...So it's about 2 hours away, I really hope to visit there soon. Maybe next season of I go down to SFKK.

You can do it in 2 hours, if you drive 100 MPH.

How could does it get in Kentucky? Would Rumbler be able to make it back to the station if it is really cold?

It can get very cold in Kentucky during the winter. I just Kentucky does not have a bad winter this year.

Today here in Lexington it was close to 70 degrees, probably warmer in Bowling Green. It looks like it will be seasonally cool for Beech Bends opening! Who is going, I will probably go in December if reviews come back postive.

according to weather.com, the average temp. for that day is 50 and the low is 31. If they stay around the average, you should be good. Shoot, if it stays close to that, I might end up going down that saturday.

Yeah it's a pretty good lil drop tower. ARM makes it I believe. Not huge tower, but the drop always catches ya off gaurd. It never really stops when gettin raised up just rises rises rises then drops with no real warning. Lots of fun!

Did anyone go to this this weekend like they said that they might? I am just wondering how it was. If the weather is anything like it was here in Lexington it was extremley foggy and wet!
