While the coasters are what get me to the parks, I usually like a good atmosphere more than anything. I voted park fan, because even if a park has an amazing coaster or lots of coasters but no atmosphere, I generally don't like it.

I like theme parks like Disneyland, because of the awesome theming and attention to detail. As far as coasters go I've been on a few, my favorites are Expedition Everest and Aerosmiths' Rockin' Roller Coaster. I LOVE Walt Disney World in Florida.

I'm a coaster fan, the more extreme the better. I enjoy and appreciate theming and what it adds to the ride experience, but at the end of the day I'd prefer a monster coaster with massive forces over in a parking lot over well themed but relatively forceless ride anyday.

Both? Neither? None of the above? I guess I consider myself a traditional park fan as well as a coaster fan. Theme parks are a lot more "hit and miss" for me. There are some places that I really like to take in and enjoy to their fullest and there are others where I just want to get my coasters in and get out. Most of these latter places have names that begin with "Six Flags." In the most extreme cases, I won't even bother going in the gate (i.e. why the hell would I want to waste valuable limited time in Denver at Elitch Gardens when I could be at the endangered paradise that is Lakeside? [Disclaimer: This statement assumes I already have all credits in both parks and, as such, can just go back to the one that's worth visiting.] ).

I think it depends what mod I am in, or which park I am at. If I feel like taking in the sights and smells, then I'd go to Disney park and just sit and enjoy myself. Sometimes I feel like running around Six Flags trying to get on every roller coaster possible, not stopping for a break. THis is a hard descision, but I think I'd have to say that I am more of a themepark fan.

Coaster fan. Roller coasters are the reasons I go to parks, and once I'm there I rarely do much besides ride the coasters. Theming, food, and nice landscaping is merely a bonus. I would choose a concrete park with great roller coasters over a park with average coasters but great scenery and theming any day.

Coaster fan, it's the rides which I go for. I've been to Thorpe Park most years since it started in the 80's. I've seen the park improve with new rides and hope it gets a "floorless / flying or wooden" coaster soon.

Tidy/ clean and well landscaped Parks are the best: Walibi World, Bobbyjannland and De Eftling, feels like you are somewhere else.

I'm more a coaster fan, I wouldn't really mind if the theming and facilities weren't up to scratch as long as the coasters are good thats what would keep me happy.

Coasters would definitly come first.

Mostly both, but a slight edge goes to the theme park side. I guess when WDW accounts for 90% of all theme park visits while growing up, you're gonna lean that way. In my eyes, Good Tower at MGM is the best theme park attraction ever created. There's just so many things that make the overall experience better than a top-notch non-themed coaster.

it`s definitly clear: I`ll vote themepark fan.

Coasters are great, but for me the most important thing is that I can chill and relax and forget the rest of the world in a great themed park, like Islands of Adventure, Disney, Europa Park, Port Aventura or Blackpool (okay this one is more enjoyable because of the coasters).

But I guess most of the great themeparks can`t exist without good coasters!
