piers Posted April 21, 2007 Posted April 21, 2007 I just read over on this site, http://www.collider.com/entertainment/news/article.asp/aid/4152/tcid/1 that in the next Hulk movie the Hulk will not be green but grey! I wonder if anything will happen over at IOA to coincide with this!
BDG Posted April 21, 2007 Posted April 21, 2007 Well, the original Hulk was gray... But ask a thousand people what color the Hulk has, not many will say gray.
Homer Posted April 21, 2007 Posted April 21, 2007 Wait, wasn't Hulk originally going to be a Silver Surfer themed coaster, but the paint would have been too shiny? Also gray looks dull and uncharacteristic for a colorful section like Super Hero Island. I call this rumor bull.
RollerC Posted April 21, 2007 Posted April 21, 2007 I don't see why they would change the coaster because the characters color changed.
ECZenith Posted April 21, 2007 Posted April 21, 2007 I wouldn't expect to see the roller coaster's color scheme change even though the movie version will. There's too much too change including all merchandising and detailing and it just wouldn't be worth it. Plus it just wouldn't be right...
gnewton34 Posted April 21, 2007 Posted April 21, 2007 Nah, it won't change. The rides and characters they have are more based on current comic book incarnations not movie versions.
SonOfBeastSucks Posted April 21, 2007 Posted April 21, 2007 It would look just terrible anything but green, imo. I hated the Hulk movie, so I doubt I will see this new one. I love the coaster though.
piers Posted April 21, 2007 Author Posted April 21, 2007 I really hated the film also. I think if they did change the colour a lot of people would be really confused. Apart from all the marvel fans and the few who bother to see it at the movies.
ECZenith Posted April 21, 2007 Posted April 21, 2007 Aren't they making the new movie BECAUSE "Hulk" was so horrible?
JT3000 Posted April 21, 2007 Posted April 21, 2007 Nah, it won't change. The rides and characters they have are more based on current comic book incarnations not movie versions. Correct. I realize Universal is a film studio - the one making this film - but everyone needs to remember that none of the attractions in IOA are based off of movies (no, not even JP.) Hulk Coaster wouldn't change ... unless there was a permanent change to the comics.
cobra_roll06 Posted April 21, 2007 Posted April 21, 2007 I don't think this will affect the coaster if this rumor is true. If it does the coaster will look a little out of place. Plus the would bascially need to re-theme everything from the queue line to the canon.....personally i dont see that happening.
