siestakey Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 I thought you guys might like this, I made a mixtape of K'Nex coasters, the best of the best. this is volume1, I hope to make more.
Jogumpie Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 Hehe. Cool, but I think the Nitro part was a little too long.
siestakey Posted November 26, 2006 Author Posted November 26, 2006 yeah, i thought so too but i put the videos in i had pretty much not enough people sent me videos.
NitroRider Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 WOW! I should buy that Nitro one. That was really cool, but the Nitro after the turnaround was inacurate. The second hill turns further to the left (after turnaround).
siestakey Posted November 26, 2006 Author Posted November 26, 2006 oh...the only coaster I made in that video was Colossus
bigdaniel Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 The video is great and the coasters are awesome. Good work! I'm really impressed. How long do you need to build a Knex Coaster like Nitro? Greetings Daniel
Thrillrider15 Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 Now I want to buy a K'Nex Roller Coaster Set. This forum is getting populated with models!
anush10 Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 That collosus was amazing! BY the way, where can i buy knex sets?
music11 Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 Try here http://www.knex.com/bigbuilds/index.php the rollercoasters http://www.knex.com/tubsncases/index.php the sets or just look in any wal-mart type of store for anything that might help you.
chaos Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 Toys "R" Us also always has some K"nex coasters. Just keep in mind that the Vertical Vengance set isn't compatible with any of the others.
Golfie Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 OMG I need to build one of these. If only it was summer... then I could hose down my spider web-infested screamin' serpent coaster.
dr.gumbo Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 This may sound like a stupid question but how do you launch the train that fast!
TheBannedKid Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 You attach rubber bands to the end of the launch and the other end attaches to the train. Pull it back and release...walla, you have a launch.
onewheeled999 Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 I only have one word to say: WOW. Those coasters are totally amazing. I would never have enough patience and a large enough attention-span to do anything like that. But somehow I manage with RCT3. EDIT: Woo! 250th Post!
