niiicolaaah Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 Nice pics Bret! Sorry about having my eyes closed in that one pic, I was just so overcome by the massive forces of HSTC... lol
Alexander Nagel Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 how much did your camera run you because those are some damn fine photos.
DerekRx Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 OK, that settles it. The next time my camera breaks, I'm not going to buy a new one, I'm just going to take you with me on trips. Those pics are simply awesome. When I don't ride as much for a few years because I get a family and fix up the house more, I'm totally investing in a sweet camera like yours so I can really wow everyone when I do go to a park.
Golfie Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 Awww... the ones with Nicole and Derek on the kiddy coaster are so cute. But really - GREAT photos!
Wes Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 Woah, those are awesome pics!! Yeah..what kind of camera are you using? EDIT: Nikon D70.
CoasterFanatic Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 How the hell do you frame those Flyer pics that well. That is damn near impossible. Great Photos!
Meteornotes Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 Amazing photos. Especially the flyer ones. Maybe I'll get to PPP next year... dt
twisterbret Posted October 10, 2006 Author Posted October 10, 2006 Thanks all the nice comments. I'm using a Nikon D70. I used a Sigma 70-300mm lens for these shots. I got it on e-bay for 50.00 but you can get one new for 180.00 If your short on funds find a D50. The D70 is replaced by a D80. Surpisingly I didn't crop any of the photos. I think I shoot better with my contacts. I was using a technic called panning or tracking. Isn't basiclly following the subject and only that one like your shooting a gun. There is a bit more too it with setting and stuff.
pkdcoaster Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 I'm gonna beat the crap out of this dead horse! Awesome Pics!!! Really nice camera you got there. pricey though looks like your son had a blast on the lil whip Thanks for sharing these HQ pics, JEFF
Primogen18 Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 very nice quality pics, and always happy to see all of the PPP PTRs
