robbalvey
Hey everyone! Chris Belson had sent me a video from his visit to Fuji-Q last month and I've finally had the time to edit it down and post it. There's some really great "up close" shots and you'll get a good idea of what the ride is like. And oh, yeah, you'll certainly KNOW how to pronounce the word "eejanaika" by the end of the video! Here's the video: http://www.themeparkreview.com/eejanaika/eejanaika_belson.htm Enjoy! --Robb
Calvin
I love the music. Eshanaika eshanaika! Eshanaika! Eshanaika! Ahahaha!
alpengeist04
Very nice video. ...but having to hear Eejanaika again and again gets annoying halfway through the video.
vjgx
Good video, but the whole EEJANAIKA EEJANAIKA EEJANAIKA thing gets old after about 30 seconds...
Timpowes
I'm pretty much sure that I'll be singing that "song" in my dream... >.< It was so annoying xD
Jeezus Juice
Anyone who thinks that song was bad has never heard the Dodonpa death march. I think that "song" made me sterile! Do...Don...*pah* rinse, repeat... Awesome footy Chris! With luck it'll be operating this winter and I can try it out! -Don This should be all healed up by then! rollermonkey
If you think that listening to Eejanaika's music for 5 minutes during a video is bad, imagine listening to it during a 2 hour wait for the ride! And Don is right, Dodonpa's 'music' is even WORSE! Don, did you actually get the Eejanaika symbol tattooed on your body!?! That's just kinda creepy! I hope everyone likes the video, it only took me about SIX FRICKIN' HOURS to get that much footage!
Adriel
It's good. But the capacity is only 20 people per train. Other than that, seems it's a smooth coaster and great speed and great seat movements. I love the part when the train is really close to the ground. thomas2
Nice vid! Eejanaika looks soo much fun; I think that it must be quite freaky when you go over that little hill after the lifthill and then straight down. Cool! Ooh and nice shoes
Ccron10
Great movie! I love Multi-Dimension coasters, but I wish they build one over on the east coast at Hershey or Dorney so I can ride one!
DarkStitch626
Great movie but does anyone agree when I say "What the heck" to 2 things. During the course of the ride, you nearly fall fully back during the first turn to the lift. Secondly the full-full you don't even flip!
rollermonkey
I was pretty surprised that you don't really go upside-down on the full-full, even though I had already seen POV of the ride.
thomas2
I actually like the Eejanaika song! And I'm not joking

rollermonkey
The 'lean back' before the lift was pretty dumb, so your WTH is quite justified there. The 'lean forward' on the brake run is actually quite fun. Thanks, Dave! (Let me know how Malaysia works out for you!) Here's the Dodonpa song: Imagine the taiko drum game or if you've heard a real taiko, imagine that. Next, slowly, hit the drum once on the skin. Then do it again. Then hit the side of the drum. Wait a half count then repeat. And repeat ad infinitum. The pace never varies and the BPM count is only around 50 or 60. There isn't even a safety announcement to break up the monotony. The line is usually at least an hour, even on a slow day due to the 8 passenger trains. I think I may have a clip from the queue with that 'music' on it. I can't post it today, I'm going to Nagoya in an hour, I'll try to put it up tomorrow or saturday.
