sfne2005
This is going to be VERY big, so no big intro for me. Taken from the ferris wheel I think. "Please hold yourself firmly".......love it. EEEEeeewww. James' smelly bracelet from TPR UK Trip!!! Scary clown guy on the front of Le Monstre. Wait, I thought it was a werewolf guy on the sign? Pain taken from the observacion tower. See, I told you. BBLLUURRRRYY. Weeee, stop the train! Don't you think the Hi-Viz yellow trains match Jame's tongue piercing? We shall soon see. MMMMMMMMM....me too. How about we E-stop this and go there now? Peep up front saying, I want to ride that next. And what might that be you say? One of only two onride pics which came out clear enough to see because of the lack of Balder smoothness. Two thumbs down for woodies with rollerskate sized wheels. Station jammed with cloked people. I know someone can think of a great caption for this....I was thinking something along the lines of James trying to find cheese but came up short? The I'm a racing woody which only ran one side. Though it was closed on our first day, it opened on the second. To think we almost decided not to come back again (not counting last week's trip) Speaking of Le Quality. Sign of quality. But rough everywhere else (the lift hill, the straight aways, after the break run)...weird. Vekoma death machine. Smooth in all the wrong places (like the corkscrews and turns). Um, yeah.....had I not seen the vekoma death machine behind this, I would have thought I was on St Catherine Street. I'm crazy chicken guy, someone eat me. So close you could high five the riders, and smell their breath. Crazy wild mouse not themed to a mouse. Longest real wait of the day. Random crazy no way in hell I am going on that flat ride. Midway is still jammed. Emotionless.....!?! Signature move on the SS tower. You didn't think you wouldn't see it did you? That's better Taken from the S&S tower, this pic would have been pretty minus the stupid Coke sign. And though it shot upwards reaching only the blackened area about 1/2 way up tower, it was really fun! Next up, the bankrupt tower. El Condor (which almost made me puke) and Le Monstre in the background. Funny thing to see operating on such a quiet day. Trenches filled with mist too. Corkscrews taken at mach 2. Loops and stuff. Next time I am taking a helicopter here. That was I don't have to be accosted by the dumb immigration people. Overview of Batm...I mean Vampire. This is by FAR my favorite Batman/clone of the ones I have been on. And James actually liked it !?! Weeeeee Zero Geeeeee! Top of Le Vampire. This ride kicked our butt! It was fast, smooth and super intense. Dear I say Nemesis intense? AAaaahhh, is this thing on? We waited approximately 10 mins for the train to dispatch despite the empty station This ride really surpised me. I like how you can actually see the whole ride from the midway. Le Vampire = Le mirrored Batman clone without Le theming. The front row was fun. The back was ouch ouch ouch. Only one inversion (Derek approved) but that was plenty for me. Le Twisty bits on Le Cobra. Taken the next day (Labor Day) with peeps and James. Is James not a peep? Bad thing about an empty park is we hardly ever saw a ride going unless we were on it. Bunny hill on a standup. And the park was very care-free with cameras, just like their operations. Packed station, but surprisely, we had to wait a bit. See, I don't lie. Intamin / BM standup. No L'Ponge show today. Midways were packed like this all day. Statue of peace, love and park openness. But they ARE! Woo, James is almost happy. Still doesn't look it. Doesn't look it. Me: You open? Moose: Yup. Me: Yup, you open? Gopher: Check with the moose.
sfne2005
Part duex I will leave you with a series of Goliath pics. Push up on the restraints and exit to the left. Au Revoir! One of the park entrances....notice the lack of peeps. TPR sillyness. Artsy night shot of Vampire. I was bored since James and I had to wait 15 minutes for enough people to show up. Hey ladies, I might not do drugs, but I sure look like it. LOL Yeah, one of my only night shots that actually came out well enough to see. No thank you. Au revour. Ghetto log flume reminds me of the one inbetween Joyland and Pleasure Beach in the UK. Where can I get a box of porn flakes? They don't sell them at my grocery store. Maybe they do at Dan's, since they sell everything! Sig move for 9 Goliath rides plus conquering the park in a few hours. Awww, James is in love. A true BM fanboy at heart. Don't worry James, it hearts you too. EVIL Trim! Since the second day was busier than the first, Goliath had a full train thus the trim kicked in. With the trim, it drops way down on my list. It kill the airtime on the return trip back. Still fun, but no where near as awesome as without. And they put on a second train after we left the park. Boooo And some of these Goliath pics were taken from the far lot where Goliath roams. Though it is a "parking lot coaster", it has that Cedar Point feel with the water all around and stuff to look at. See what I mean? The lift hill, though not super high, is super steep. Due to mostly empty trains I assume, the trim brake did not engage. This makes it a top 5 steel coaster for me. Better than Nitro and Apollos Chariot IMO. (Haven't been on any other BM Hypers) Super extended floaty airtime on every hill. Goliath on our first day was unbelievable! Signature moves, Le Monstre colored tongue piercings and a hippo. A hippo? What the? Now we talkin! Closed kiddie credit. Booo Le Feris wheel. And putting on a show! Best $1 I ever spent...to see James jammin on the DDR. The Pepsi zone. I might have won the TPR party TR if there was more of this in it I've never seen candy for sale in a restroom before. While James was riding his first ever wacky flat ride, this ride op was talking to his friends at SFMM. Trouble of course finds an open gate leading to the outside world. James, don't go out there, there might be people out there! Really neat indoor coaster with loads of theming....strobe lights, dragons, and stuff. Good stuff too. I'll keep it clean for the site....but you know why I took this pic. I'd like to give a shout out .....and you know who you are. They had this crepe shop where you could put anything on it. Splash...... Universal rip off? Water ride...no thanks. Olympic Village as seen from LaRonde. It's 5 am and I am running out of things to say. more

larrygator
I hope you didn't eat at that chicken place, as the chicken is horrible. Also, I see no reference to The Beaver Tail, did either of you try this fried dough delicacy?

sfne2005
I hope you didn't eat at that chicken place, as the chicken is horrible. Also, I see no reference to The Beaver Tail, did either of you try this fried dough delicacy? No on the chick a chick.....we had pizza both days and it was really good. What's the beaver tail? I didn't see that. Not much was open on the way of stores either day.
larrygator
There was a stand somewhere between Monstre and the Indoor Coaster that sold Beaver Tails. Just dough thrown into the deep fryer that is shaped like a beaver tail. They top it with fruit or chocolate. It was better than any funnel cake I have ever had.
