dandaman Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 I think they have better quality food that some of the other fast food burger joints. They are really building a lot of them in Florida. Looks like it's a few miles off our route, I'll have to do some convincing/false directions to get there.

If you are taking I-75 down to the Florida Turnpike, there is one right by the 2nd Gainesville exit (If you are heading south).
dandaman Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 Yeah... we're headed to Tampa from Jacksonville. Mapquest says it's about an hour shorter to cut across the state. (We merge onto I-75 at Gainesville, though.) Eh, still hoping to get my Whataburger credit.
pvcoasterguy Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 Hopefully I'll be able to make it to Disney World during spring break again. The crowds really weren't that terrible; in fact they were very managable. You just have to plan your day and know how to use Fastpass. Anyway, I love Disney TR's. Thanks for posting it!
ebl Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 I'll be at WDW October 11-17. I"m looking forward to getting my EE credit, too. Nice Photo TR, Erik! Eric
CoasterFanatic Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 It seems that Disney found itself another cash cow. I am sure that this is probably already public knowledge, but I asked a CM years ago about the "pans" at BTMR and he said that it all goes to charity. Damned if I can't remember which one. // Brinkley is still a celebrity?
USRoadTripper Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 ^ The last time I noticed, the fountain in front of Epcot was marked with a Give Kids the World plaque. I believe that that's where most, if not all, of the money collected from fountains and other places goes. Makes sense that they would support their own charity. -Julie
dandaman Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 I believe most "spare change" at WDW goes to Give Kids The World. // Seeing "0 days" on my countdown clock is pretty nice
bgwfreak Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 $67 for one day!!!1??!!?? I guess I won't be going there anytime soon.
Erik Johnson Posted August 21, 2006 Author Posted August 21, 2006 $67 for one day!!!1??!!?? I guess I won't be going there anytime soon. We have Florida Resident passes, plus when you get the multi-day passes you get a much better deal.
Fry Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 They had closed off the second car of every train when I rode EE as well. That was... July 20th? Funnily enough, it was just after a breakdown... Sure didn't help the 2 hour line though!
