rcoasters Posted August 6, 2006 Posted August 6, 2006 The weather has been pretty chilly over here in the past days. We went from having like an average of 35-40°C to now having an average of about 25°C. It is such a difference !
jellylegs Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 lol i live in texas, and sometimes it gets up 103.
gisco Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 It was only 100 today. Couple of weeks ago we had a heat wave and the average high temp for a 10 day period was 108.6. We had 6 days in a row over 110. The hotest it got was 113 two days in a row.
the sound Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 Its cold in Melbourne. 16 Degrees Celsius! thats freezing! In January, it gets to 45 Degrees Celsius here (i don't know what that is in Farenheit) In closing, the Metric System is way cooler! Oh yeah, and its Not Hot!
thomas2 Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 It's somewhere around 20°C in Belgium now. Really cold! Luckily I'm going to Madrid next week and it's 35°C there
ScOtT k Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 Its cold in Melbourne. 16 Degrees Celsius! thats freezing! In January, it gets to 45 Degrees Celsius here (i don't know what that is in Farenheit) Confused me at first, than I remembered you are in the southern hemisphere. 45 Celsius is roughly 120 fahrenheit. I don't think it gets that hot... And 16 Celsius is not cold...
krazekiddd Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 91 but it feels like 98.. argh.. Well at least no hurricanes yet!
obeygiant Posted August 13, 2006 Posted August 13, 2006 Yesterday was supposedly the hottest day of the summer...around 99 degrees. But, it didn't feel that hot.
the sound Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 And 16 Celsius is not cold... Dude, are you like an eskimo or something? Only eskimos and people from theFalklands think that 16 degrees celsius is not cold. On another note... 15 today! Not cool .
MiamiBoii4392 Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 Well, it gets to F 92 (at night) And with the horrible humidity on top of that, even worse, but I'm used to it. You think its hot up in Jersey right now? Its not compared to here
BeemerBoy Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 ^ ^^^ ^^^^Ah yes, SoFla in August/Sept.....one thing I do not miss at all!!
ScOtT k Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 And 16 Celsius is not cold... Dude, are you like an eskimo or something? Only eskimos and people from theFalklands think that 16 degrees celsius is not cold. On another note... 15 today! Not cool . Wow. That is like tropical paradise compared to what I see in the winter. It often hits negative 10 (farenheit)

It often hits negative 10 (farenheit) Hmm, -10 Fahrenheit = -534 Celsius ... I think you're wrong
ScOtT k Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 10 below is rare, but I see it once or twice a year. Check your math. Also, I do not consider 15 celcius cold. Our low tonight will be 47 farenheit, or 8 celcius. This is the middle of the summer for me. The record low in pine junction colorado was -41 on january 10th 1962.
goleafsgo Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 Hmm, -10 Fahrenheit = -534 Celsius ... I think you're wrong really? arent you thinkning of calvin? or is 0 calvin -700 degrees celcius? im confused.
rcoasters Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 Oh sorry, I was too tired ..lol It makes about -23ºC which is cold ! The coldest we ever got over here was something like -45ºC, then again I live in Canada ...
the sound Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 I don't live in a tropical paradise for all those people that said i do. It gets cold, it rains, and it isn't humid in melbourne. More dry. Tropical paradise is more of a Cairns sort of place.
