Another Ferris Wheel Accident?

In a span of less than 3 weeks, another Ferris wheel incident occured. A 4-yr. old girl was "thrown" from a Ferris wheel, while a 7-yr. old boy fell on top of one of the gondola's.

I only ride permanent park model Ferris wheels. Those traveling, crappy ones are so scary

I am more terrified of ferris wheels than I am roller coasters. It doesn't matter if the ferris wheel is at a fair or at a theme park, I don't go on it.

Ditto here. The giant wheels I'm fine with, but the smaller ones that rock are ridiculously creepy. It's better now, but as a kid, I used to be really nervous when riding them.

Ferris wheels are pure EVIL, I guess that George W. Ferris is the devil himself.

 

I just don't go on them, just in extreme cases to get some really nice photos of them.

My fear of ferris wheels started when that kid died on one at Fantasy Island. It was in like the early/mid 90s. The car fell right off.

 

Needless to say, that ferris wheel isn't there anymore. But I won't ride those small ones that fit 2 people per car anymore.
