  1. No I didn't think everything was allready done. I was like asking for tips and suggestions for fun things to do during that trip. Thanks, Jerrykoala2112, your tip is one i really like. Alpine sleds are really great rides with lots of fun. And we are able to see something from the beatiful Smokey Mountains. Some maybe there are more people with tips like this.
  2. What do you think the extra's/fun Activities could be during the Intimidator Tour??
  3. My number one is Wild Mouse, with Grand National coming very close. And Steeplechase being third
  4. I really want to know that too!! Do you think it's possible to add Six Flags Over Georgia to this trip??
  5. The latest rumors were about launch coasters. A couple of years ago it was about an Intamin launch coaster with a tophat on a pier out in the sea. But the latest rumors are about a Mack launched coaster with a location next to Steeplechase en Rollercoaster.
  6. I just came back yesterday from my Florida trip and this will be my updated list: Steel: 1 - Nemesis (Alton Towers) 2 - Montu (Busch Gardens Africa) 3 - Expedition GeForce (Holiday Park) 3 - Manta (Seaworld Orlando) 4 - Tatsu (SFMM) 5 - Riddlers Revenge (SFMM) 6 - Katun (Mirabilandia) 7 - Xcelerator (KBF) 8 - Kraken (Seaworld Orlando) 9 - Dueling Dragons - Fire & Ice (Universal's Islands Of Adventure) 10 - Stealth (Thorpe Park) Wood: 1 - Colossus (Heidepark) 2 - Troy (Toverland) 3 - Grand National (Blackpool Pleasure Beach) 4 - Wild Mouse (Blackpool Pleasure Beach) 5 - Giant Dipper (Belmont Park) 6 - Dania Beach Hurricane (Boomers Dania Beach) 7 - Big Dipper (Blackpool Pleasure Beach) 8 - Stampida - Red & Blue (PortAventure) 9 - Mammuth - (Erlebnispark Tripsdrill) 10 - Colossos - (SFMM)
  7. I will go with the Schwarzkopf Shuttle Loops. I have done 2 Schwarzkopf coasters (Greased Lightnin' @ CGA, Montezooma's Revenge @ KBF) and only 1 Arrow and thats the one in Blackpool (Revolution). The only thing I like from the Arrow shuttle loop is the little bit of airtime you have while going down. The Schwarzkopf shuttle loop has the more forcefull launch, the speed, better trains/restraints etc
  8. Expedition Everest last monday
  9. You have to watch the video again. Just take a closer look and you won't see any OTSR. The boats only have lapbars, but they are attached to the back of the seat.
  10. And here is the official video from Shoot The Rapids: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yF7LSFdqpFk
  11. You have to watch the animation first. They use real lapbars on this waterride, not over-the-shoulder restraints.
  12. My last Rollercoaster was the famous Olympia Looping on the german fair 2 weeks ago. My next rollercoaster will be Dania Beach Hurricane next saterday
  13. No I have never experienced a rollback. But I came close. Last year when I was in the UK and I was waiting in line for Stealth (Thorpe Park), the train had a rollback twice.
  14. I don't think that's a good pick from Universal. Does anyone remember the official Microsoft press conference for Windows 98???
  15. If Chang will go to SFGAm, Iron Wolf will go to one of the smaller parks in the SF chain.
  16. I think you are right. Just like it happened some years ago with Darien Lake and Elitch Gardens. SF has to sell some parks to stay healthy. I think they must sell the smaller and less profitable parks, like Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom, Six Flags America, and some other parks that still don't have the SF name, like American Adventures and Great Escape. But what could happen in the future with the SF parks outside the USA, La Ronde, SF Mexico and Dubailand??
  17. The POV video and Offride video from Intimidator are allready posted here. But for the fans of B&M hyper coasters and this new Carowinds rollercoaster i have uploaded 2 more video's. Teaser: [coastertube]http://www.themeparkreview.com/coastertube/play.php?vid=intimidator_teaser_800x450_kgbm[/coastertube] Flyaround: [coastertube]http://www.themeparkreview.com/coastertube/play.php?vid=intimidator_flyaround_800x450_gtqg[/coastertube]
  18. Why all those complains about the restraints used on both Intimidator coasters?? For rollercoasters in general they are ok, but they don't fit the Nascar/Racing theme. If you want to have the perfect Nascar themed rollercoaster the trains must have the through 5-point or 6-point racing harnesses.
  19. When do you think Dueling Dragons will be closed for the retheming work? I am going to visit the park during my stay in Orlando between 12 september and 22 september.
  20. Last week I have done Olympia Looping @ the Crange Fair in Herne (Germany)
  21. If it counts as a park, my next park will be Boomers (Dania Beach). But next month i'm only visiting it to ride the Hurricane.
  22. Yes I know, But I have to do this trip during summer and I know it will be busier. But I have no other choice, because I want to ride to new rollercoasters that are planned for some of the parks in 2010. So I don't want to make this trip during May or June.
  23. @The Bebes, thanks for your quick help. Speaking about driving...... I want to do this trip with a small group of people and multiple drivers. I'll try to have a group of at least 4 people. So driving 3 to 5 hours would be no problem. And adding Six Flags America instead of Freestyle Music Park is a great option. Thanks for making some quick calulations for the trip costs. Do you think this trip will cost less then $2000 USD per person if we are with 4 people?
  24. I know Freestyle Music Park is not the most interesting park. And the only credit I'm interested in is Time Machine. The other coasters are not that great. And yes I was allready thinking about taking the park out of my plans. But that still leaves a long drive from Carowinds to Busch Gardens. Ok i forgot about that. Then I think I have to move the trip into july or August. But that won't be a big problem.
