  1. Is Powder Keg a failure? The race track got what they ordered and it sounds like S&S talked them into adding the large final turn. Is there an extreme launch coaster that doesn't have some issues? I wouldn't expect this to be the crown jewel of up time but I wouldn't purchase any launch coaster with that idea.
  2. Drop Zone at KI. I'll never get used to that.
  3. Hasn't there been a rumor floating around that B&M submitted a plan for MF but it was way more expensive than the Intamin plan?
  4. That B&M exclusive thing keeps getting repeated but nobody knows the details. I have a hard time believing it. What I do believe is that B&M can't build a 300 footer at a comparable price to Intamin. I hope that you're wrong about the inversion. That would mean OTSR.
  5. That heat can't be good for the wheels.
  6. He makes visits to all of the parks. As for the supports, once someone shows us a photo we can probably start a new tread regarding the CW addition.
  7. Track has shown up at KD. If supports are showing up at CW then it's for a different ride. I'd also want to see photos of the supports that are showing up in Canada prior to taking this rumor seriously.
  8. It has gotten better. It feels a little looser (not in a rough kind of way). I hadn't been on in it a couple of weeks when my wife and I rode this past Sunday and when we hit the brakes we both had our mouths open is disbelief.
  9. Someone put together a really good video. You have to go and watch the HD version.
  10. I've bought into the Intamin giga idea. It might be wishful thinking but it makes more sense than another launch IMO.
  11. No doubt about it. Patriot is one of my favorite inverts. I can ride it over and over. B:TR's are one and done for me. I can ocasionally go for 2nd's. Patriot is a nice mix of speed, fluid inversions with some nice air.
  12. I like the Huss version a lot but spinning slower and swinging higher sounds even better. Bring on the awesomeness.
  13. How do these compare to the Huss version? Do they spin faster, swing higher...?
  14. B:TR has way more positive g's. My feet go numb on all of them. I like Patriot more but I think that you'll be hard pressed to find others who will agree that it's more forceful than any B:TR.
  15. Great TR. You did a good job of describing the Prowler experience. I too look forward to the August night rides. It's pretty spectacular now. I can't image what it will be like then. My wife and I popped into the park last night at 9pm just for 3 rides on Prowler.
  16. I've been on both and even though Prowler is only a couple of days old I prefer it.
  17. I got a couple of night rides in this evening. 80% of the ride is in total darkness. Pure awesomeness in every seat. My wife made a squeak noise during the ending sequence every time.
  18. I love this ride. The constant speed can't be mentioned enough. And even though it's only a day old I consider it to be one of the top GCI. Thunderhead and OzCat are right there with it but night rides in the summer are going to push it well ahead of those two IMO. Here are a couple more shots.
  19. You're doing yourself a disservice if you don't go and watch the full HD version.
  20. I really like the black seats/black lap bars on Prowler.
  21. I love the B&W. It's a nice way to mix it up. They're great shots too.
  22. The official page has some shots of it testing. http://prowler.worldsoffun.com/public/latest/index.cfm
  23. They will. They leave them off for testing. Water dummies prefer open site lines.
