But again, it's SFMM. As I said, for $7/month, I come in and ride a few rides and head out. It isn't worth complaining over because it's such a good value I don't even care. Add the new 365 day operating schedule, and that value increases to people in your situation. Lots of possible low attendance days to get a lot of rides in.

If not for Joker, it's say they had already passed DK up. I'd also wager given CGA's ambitious master plan, it's only a matter of time before they leave DK firmly in the dust. Cedar Fair is investing an amazing amount of time and money in it's west coast parks. SFDK needs to follow in CGA's footsteps and get part of the park rezoned. Maybe consider building a parking structure, and use the left over land for expansion.

Great beer. Got better after a couple weeks.

I'm pretty stoked to see Special Ops: Infected returning to Knott's Scary Farm. Last years version was the best incarnation yet. Previous years saw not so great operations that caused huge lines and delays, including for those with reservations and fight lane. Thankfully, they've smoothed most of that process out along with the story line. Anyone else feel the same? [youtu_be] [/youtu_be] The big announcement event is tomorrow, and I'm getting super excited for the new haunt hotness!

I never rode it with these effects before, but this is great news for Haunt! OMFG I'm there! Just the "welcome to the demon" coming back would be amazing, but I've never ridden it with the fog or blood fall either! Cedar Fair really is doing everything right with this park, I'm really excited for the next 5-10 years here. I'm in the same boat too! This is pretty interesting. I kinda hope they also do this during the day (I'm personally not much of a Haunt person). Also, with the area being retooled for Railblazer, it would be cool to bring back some of the rock work. I kinda doubt that would happen, but it would be interesting to see. I've been wondering when they would bring the lights back in the tunnels. It's safe to say, if they install new lights they will be left on for regular operations, at least I hope they are. They can get really creative with LED's now a days. It's been kinda sad to see its Six Flags twin operating with them, and ours without. If I was someone high up at CF, I wouldn't want our version to be known as the lesser version.

I would just allow for 1 1/2 hours and take extra time to eat before you get into the park if you get there early. There are several fast food places near the park. Gotta shout out to this awesome Mexican restaurant just across the highway from Magic Mountain https://www.yelp.com/biz/azul-tequila-valencia-2 Great happy hour tacos and margaritas! We found this place during last years West Coast Bash, and it is now a must visit every trip.

Calm down, Steven Seagal. Railblazer is going to be an amazing, standout ride in the park but getting a hyper in the line up will eventually be the cherry on top. Especially if it's a launched hyper! Getting back to Railblazer... If the final product features the theming in the rendering, that will make two coasters in the park with stone/rock themed tunnels, and 3 coasters total at the park with tunnels. TAKE THE TUNNEL!

Between CGA and Knott's, Cedar Fair on the west coast is killing it! If anyone doubted their 20 year plan, this ride and its theming should give the naysayers something to think about. I wonder how the construction will affect Haunt, as the construction site sits right up against one of their haunted house locations.
