I was challenged as well, having it end as it usually does with the "it's not the way I like it so I'm not going to accept it" discussion. I fail to see how Bugsland or Carsland can "sort-of" fit into DCA but when Marvel doesn't when Marvel has used the real world as a setting throughout its whole career. West Coast Avengers, SHIELD is stationed all over the world, etc... It's a very clear fact superheroes reside in California as well, can't be argued (or you would think). Then when they would bring up how much they don't have faith in a company they seemingly still attend every year, I used Iron Man at HKDL as a perfect example. But we all know you can throw them straight proof of a comics taking place in California in a park about California, I got told "it still doesn't fit." Whaa - whaaa? Shield is stationed behind TOT, therefore superheroes are naturally nearby in the town of Hollywood. Easy for everyone but a fanboy. That argument should start at end at, "Remember when Walt came to California and got a job washing dishes at a diner... in Monstropolis? Ah, yes. Those were the good old days."

My reaction when I read all the Disney fanboy/fan girl hate rants about how this ride is destroying DCA and the Disneyland Resort: Someone even challenged me to explain how this ride fits into the story of California... oh, please tell me how a land inhabited by homunculus automobiles fits, or a land with English speaking insects helps tell the story of California. If anything, California has always been infatuated with celebrity and entertainment. It's the home of Hollywood. Nothing is more Californian than modeling a ride after a successful movie franchise. Seems legit to me, but like all updates to the resort, after the ride opens and the hard core Disney fans get to ride it, the sooner they will start back pedaling and praising.

It can be done, it would just involve a lot of driving and ungodly patience. At the moment, CGA doesn't have their September schedule posted and that time is usually a Haunt schedule. So, I could not guarantee you making both parks happen. Hypothetically speaking, you could make it from one park to the other in an hour, but that's without any traffic problems. Even so, I would recommend you skip any flat rides at CGA and get in your flat rides at SCBB. Dedicate your time at CGA to riding Goldstriker, Flight Deck, and Patriot until you get your fill (ride Demon if you're feeling like getting beat up, and skip Wildmouse at CGA because SCBB has Undertow and its a better ride. It also spins, Wildmouse does not). From SCBB it would take you about 5 hours to get to Magic Mtn. I assume you'd try to fit this all in on the day before WCB (Friday)....

I will say ever since the ride opened, and I'm not sure how most other floorless coasters ride as I've only ever been on Scream and Dæmonen in Copenhagen (and Dæmonen was from what I remember, very smooth with a softer wheel compound) With SFDK's Medusa not far away from where I live, I can tell you the rides are like night and day. Medusa has always been smooth on my rides, while Scream beats me like a redheaded step child.

I second this, after riding at both the media day and he passholder event, there really is airtime in the corkscrew. Of all places you wouldn't expect it. Do you guys mean hang time? I just can't fathom airtime while upside down. Is it even possible? No. They mean airtime. It's not like the slow paced roll that you get on say, SFDK's Superman ride. That transition feels like forever. This is tight singular corckscrew with enough force to give you a little pop. It was surprising to say the least. That element was always painful on the yarbles before.
