It's not. Take a look at Monster's light package, the colors are very saturated. I wonder if they should have gone with white track for that. White wouldn't work for the effect they're going for. They're looking to simulate the surf/curl crashing under a surfboard. Having the blue track highlighted by white light as the car passes over achieves that.

This just goes to show how everybody experiences roller coasters differently, because I very much disagree with this statement. If I relax on X2, it throws me around like a ragdoll and the ride is much rougher. It is much more tolerable, for me, when I brace for everything, especially the final raven turn. But like I said, that’s just me. You gotta do what works for you. Going limp is the reason drunk drivers survive their crashes.

There are other properties throughout Knotts to place mazes. Some of the properties that they used in the past include the Whealer Dealer bumper cars (formerly the site of Dia de Los Muertos), the gravel plot of land underneath Silver Bullet (formerly the site of Gunslingers Grave), the Calico Railroad track behind Supreme Scream (formerly the site of Corn Stalkers), and the plot of land in Fiesta Village that sits directly across from Jaguar (formerly the site of Virus Z). Hence the warehouses behind Ghostrider could indeed be taken out without directly affecting Scary Farm operations The park is also able to use stretches of pathways, like the first years of Special Ops: Infected. Like new roller coasters, parks will find room.

The OC Register mentions that the new hotel will be located in space currently occupied by AMC, Earl of Sandwich, Rainforest Cafe, and ESPN Zone. It makes me wonder... with the loss of the AMC theater, would the Resort think to open it's own theater within the new property? If only the Monorail had it's own Trader Sam's stop.

Actually I am colour blind within certain colour palettes. I get mixed up when it comes to various shades of blue, green and grey, and sometimes red and brown. To me green traffic lights lights look blue for example, but since I can tell the difference between red, yellow and blue/green I can have a driver license. Also I think that my favorite navy blue shirt looks purple, and I once bought a suit at a second hand store that I thought was dark grey but was actually green. Fortunately it only cots me $5. That would actually be something good to lead with when asking about colors

The night time version, After Dark, is insane. There's so much airtime, I was hardly in my seat for a majority of the ride. At one point, it was hard to distinguish if we were being pulled up or down. I tried to get video of the new digital mapping effects on the outside of the building to post, but my phone bricked after vacation. They're very cool.

That said... I couldn't disagree with you more. Knott's Scare zones are basically the best in the world. Fire, while fun, does not a scarezone make. And their mazes are much more unique and varied. I feel like this may be your first visit to Fright Fest. It is relatively impressive for a first time visitor (though I'd still find Knott's better even in that regard), and certainly a good bargain--it's one of the cheapest haunts in a theme park. And for the money you pay, it's not bad. But just wait until next year when you realize all the Fright Fest mazes are exactly the same as the year before. And the year before that. And the year before that... Couldn't have said it better.
