Is the employee lot in the back ever completely full? Plus even with the woodie, they could tear down the IMAX Theater and there's tons of space over there. We could always hope for an indoor coaster/dark ride

The meeting was on May 28, so I guess that means CF is free to start building? If that is so, then that is a huge win for the park if they decide to build more rides!

I am with you. I visited the park on the 17th and had the best time. The staff was friendly and pumped up which helped with the 98 degree weather, the rides were dispatching quickly, the park was clean, ....it was probably one of the best times I'd spent at Knotts.

I know. In the pictures, I was hoping there was more of the ride that people couldnt get to and capture, but man is this short!

^ As I stated before, it will probably be a nice change of pace once the park is filled out with all the other new major attractions.

Agreed. This ride definitely looks more entertaining than the games previously in its place.

Agreed. With new rides with big price tags (a la Little Mermaid), I'm sure this one will help round out DCA as a whole.

Awesome! I was a lil skeptical about crowds after I saw that the Knotts hotel was booked solid on Friday & Saturday. My band is playing the UC Irvine Dragon Skate competition on the 17th, so I figured why not use our Platinum Passes at Knotts, and show her why I love coasters so much. Xcelerator should be the hight of the trip

Can anyone predict the park attendance for the 18th? I'm going to bring my gf with me to Knotts for the first time, and I want to be prepared for heavy crowds if so.

I too agree with this. Maybe I notice it more, being of larger size (6' 3" - 225lbs.) When I hit an inversion my legs are out and its definitely a different sensation than having your legs and feet crammed in a car. I do enjoy the extra room in the floorless design. I'd love to see some high speed floorless coasters, I mean, if its possible. *hint hint*

UPDATE: Just got back from the park for a quick lunch time ride of Flight Deck and to check out the new Firefall. Things I noticed when walking up to the park. - Lite crowds, most of which consisted of charter bus delivered visitors. - & TONS of signs stating that Firefall will not be operating today. After passing through the security check point, I asked "why?! why no Firefall???" Apparently they didnt finish the fencing around the ride or training employees how to operate the ride. They projected its opening for next Friday. I wanted to get some over head shots for you guys, but the sky buckets were closed.

Maybe the splash would be initiated by some kind of water cannon or something similar to the Bellagio water show in Vegas. I cant see the train itself starting the splash without drowning the people in the back rows.

I agree, and so much that I've been seriously thinking of picking up stock at the current low price. Thats just fueled by the strides MM has made in the last year!
