Firefox problems?
kenshinmac replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
You know Mozilla Suite is discontinued and unsupported right? In fact I am not even sure that the Suite got the updates necessary to prevent the last exploit I saw posted for Mozilla apps. Please if you are using a Mozilla based browser get Firefox 1.5 it has automatic updates which will help to prevent problems for you. It also has a number of nice new features. I suggest people make the move to Firefox and Thunderbird if they are currently using Suite. -

Man your pics make me really want to go there... Anyone know what style of ToT Paris is gonna get?(Actually has it been announced yet? Everyone knows it is coming if the parks stay in business) Are all the new ones gonna be like the Cali one? If so I'm bummed because I thought the whole transition thing really added to the Florida one. -
Twister II's California Trip Review!
kenshinmac replied to Twister II's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
I for one think Elitch Gardens sucks some major arse concidering it being my home park!! BLUH!!! Taylor, Robb was just making a crack at Elitch Gardens and saying how much it sucks. Also this smily is a sign of hostility too! It really shouldn't be used unless ya want to piss off the other person! If that was your intention ya sure are doing a good job at it! Roll Eyes is only offensive if someone lets it be. I mean seriously it is all just in jest for heavens sake. People let things on boards get to them far too much. This isn't a serious board don't take things too harshly I mean for heavens sake... 8) :o -
Firefox problems?

Hmm? I haven't had any problems ever... Well other than when you posted that the server went down. I have always used Firefox for this site too... -
Twister II's California Trip Review!

trips to IOA, Cedar Point, and WDW. You DO actually know what the means, right? --Robb "Honestly, getting a little annoyed with your attitude." Alvey I thought he had it right... Seemed like your response might be saying he hadn't been to other parks. Oh and BTW those of us in Fort Collins hate when the Greeley smell invades our airspace... -
Calculator Programs For Coasters
kenshinmac replied to jimths08's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
You can load assembly apps onto almost any of the Ti calculators. You just need to find out how to and get the link cable that attaches to your comp. I used to program TI-Basic stuff all the time and made a lot of cool games on my 82 but sadly lost them all in a dead battery situation... Anyway the best resource on the net for calculator stuff I have found is http://www.ticalc.org/ . They have an amazing amount of stuff and some great games. All you need for the 83 is just to get the USB link cable and hook it up to your computer. -

Yep... Link doesn't work... Just resize the picture until it works... -
First good coaster!
kenshinmac replied to euphoric's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
BTW typically in RCT3 the peeps won't ride things that are much over 9 in intensity. There are exceptions but they aren't terribly common. -
Why is PGA's Grizzly so bad?
kenshinmac replied to momo1tx's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Slow... Sometimes bumpy... No Airtime... No Fun... You take your pick... It is just unimpressive in about every single way... They should put a new woodie in or maybe an X-car... PGA needs a new big attraction... -
First good coaster!
kenshinmac replied to euphoric's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
I'll take a look at it later. I would say that you are probably starting out a bit too big. Try a little smaller and get a feeling for the way that the rides run and the way that the game portrays g-forces and intensity. That gives you a better idea of how to handle things when you get to this sort of size. BTW typically in RCT3 the peeps won't ride things that are much over 9 in intensity. -
Next Expansion for RCT3

There is a known bug in the release version of wild that affects the framerate during night sequences. Download the update to fix it... -

Taboo - [RCT3]
kenshinmac replied to coasters 4 me's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
I think a diagonal lift is kinda a waste of space... Also custom supports mean that most people can't use the file... -
Oakwood Discussion Thread
kenshinmac replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Who cares what the name is... That looks like a blast... Man I wish I could go... Six Flags needs to put some of these babies in the smaller parks (cough Elitches). They would be a great custom ride and would be small enough to fit but with decent capacities. -
Hmm... Well after some looking I don't really see a way that I can export standard MPEGs from iMovie... Is putting up an MPEG4 going to put me at a significant disadvantage? I'm kinda bummed because I haven't been able to avoid serious blocking in the re-compressing. Well my video is gonna put me at enough of a disadvantage but it was a lot of fun to play with some of the software because I never really had an excuse to play with it before. This is a great contest idea Robb. Definitely keep it going. Anyone with iMovie have any suggestions?

Twister II's California Trip Review!
kenshinmac replied to Twister II's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
I had to quote that... Great stuff... Seriously though spell check. Oh and proof read your posts before you hit that button. I know it is tough when you are excited but hey when no one else can understand what you are saying it is just as much of a problem. Good to hear you are having fun... Oh BTW Superman was the first Intamin coaster to use linear motors so of course it isn't quite gonna be up to the rest. (ok corrected myself... BTW does anyone know if California Screamin really uses LSMs? I figured it would be a LIM machine. Is that just a mistake on RCDB?) -
Well I think I'll take a stab at it... Everyone will know mine because it will suck... I have no idea what I am doing but this seems like a fun idea and I have been wanting an excuse to play with some of the free software for video editing... The only other problem than my complete lack of experience is the fact that my tastes in music don't really lend themselves to this sort of thing... Oh well we'll see if I can't whip something up in my free time...

The "Disney-Magic" that TPR built!
kenshinmac replied to Mr.Six's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
It doesn't mess up RCT2 games if you have more expansions installed.
