^ It says there is no timetable for the sale.... sounds like Demon Drop to me, so don't look for it to be sold by the end of this year, especially in this economic environment. -James Dillaman

Seriously, no love for Cornball? That is such an amazing gem of a ride for the park. I know what you mean about how HH goes over the water, though. It is cool. I also agree that you haven't done Indiana Beach until you do Frankenstein's Castle. Some good photos! -James Dillaman -

I thought CF had a lawsuit against the contractor that built SoB after the major incident in 2006... maybe I was wrong? -James Dillaman -

A woman claimed she suffered a head injury on May 31st. She contacted the park on June 16th. That's why it's closed. -James Dillaman -
It was nice riding with you at KI, Big Mike. I had to sacrifice my phone to ride Firehawk with the big man, but it was worth it! Love seeing your updates. Between your updates and Robb's, it's almost like being there ( secretly I wish I wasn't getting married and could blow my savings on a TPR trip... don't tell my fiance!) -James Dillaman

Looking at the history, maybe they'll remove it and put in another 3-point challenge. A much better investment business-wise. Besides, how many people on here are still whining about Hercules, Shockwave, Flashback, Psyclone, Hypersonic, King Cobra... the list goes on and on, Rides get removed from parks all the time, even parks owned by Cedar Fair and Six Flags. Get over it. The only time I really understand someone defending a coaster being torn down like this is if it's good AND has a serious historical significance. SoB is like the old, circular-looping coasters in the 20's. They hurt people and the idea didn't work. Tear it down and build something, anything, in it's place! -James Dillaman -

Put a sign up: "Those who forget the past are due to repeat it" and leave it as a somber memorial to those who bruised themselves while attempting to have a good time at Kings Island. -James Dillaman -

Awesome pics, Big Mike! How do I get the valued reader signature? I want one badly! Anyway, I didn't find the ticket at Kings Island, but I got the one at Coney Island! It was awesome hanging out with you at KI until Firehawk ate my cell phone! -James Dillaman In my hand I hold something rarer than diamonds! Coney Island on May 23, 2009! CRAZY Mirrors!

Smoking wasn't a problem at the park when we were there. People seemed to respect the smoking areas. There are many of them and they are well-marked. Frankly I think more people smoke on my college campus than at most themeparks. -James "I don't get it" Dillaman -

^ I'm sure there are waterslide enthusiasts the same way there are coaster enthusiasts. I know of a couple people on these boards that count darkrides, too! People like different things. I think counting waterslides isn't that different from counting coasters. It all depends on what you enjoy. -James Dillaman -

^ Why would they do that? They'd miss out on months of hype and speculation. It's much better marketing to keep it secret as long as possible and create a buzz about it. -James Dillaman -

Well for us, it was 3.5 hours from Cincinnati to Monticello, and 4.5 hours from Monticello back to Cincinnati... Maybe JZ will post pics at the end as why the drive home took an hour longer... It isn't a bad drive at all from Cincinnati. -James
