  1. ^Thanks for the articles. They make the coaster sound great wich is good for Blackpool, hopefully Infusion will draw more guests to the park, and the GP never complain about SLC's so it probarly will. Even I think Infusion might be a fun ride even though its an SLC! But i'm actually really more interested in the "big" project the articles talks about. Agreed, Blue Tornado @ Gardaland and some of those funky-coloured SLC's look beautiul IMO, and Infusion has some nice colours to!
  2. After looking at that image of Infusion, i must admit it looks pretty good! Sure, it's an SLC, but if the real thing will be anything like that image, it'll be the best themed SLC i've ever seen! It even makes me WANT to ride it! It's like it's hypnotising me, making me forget about all the pain i would go through (lol)! Although it's a shame the Log Flume had to be demolished for a second-hand standard SLC, (IMO) i think that if BPB really invests in Infusions theming, this whole situation won't be such a total loss after all.
  3. The RCDB now lists it to: www.rcdb.com/id3723.htm Apparently it'll be a slightly modified version of the 320+ model (due to space requirements).
  4. Yay!!! Yet another coaster for Spain and for Europe! 2007 is going to be great!!!
  5. Wow, looks nice! Thanks for the sharing the pictures, the In-Line Twist looks awsome and construction seems to be getting along nicely now! I also hope the coaster won't ruin the lake, but i think we can never really now how bad/good its going to look until its actually finished. Besides, its a small price to pay for a coaster like that!
  6. I think the track is steel, its certainly made of something strong and it looks solid. All i know is that the track is, like Coaster Joe said, suspended like a suspension bridge on cables. The track from up close. (pic by me). More cables. (pic by me). The track looks like its hanging from cables. (pic by me).
  7. Thanks alot for the video! Vertigo looks great! I can't wait to ride it, the video makes it look like you're really going to be flying up there! The few supports the coaster has, are massive! They're certainly big and strong enough to hold up the track and the cars riding it, also i don't think the track is very heavy.
  8. Its very nice of you to promote the Plopsa/Studio100 group here, but you might wanna make that post just a little bit shorter. (EDIT) Never mind, you're right, there's alot to say about this company and you did it great! Anyways, IMO Plopsa is GREAT! Here in Belgium i've heard people say Studio 100 is a "second Disney company" with its wide range of children shows and its !3! theme parks. I've been to their main park Plopsaland De Panne and to Plopsa Coo, and both were beautiful parks and even had some good coasters for a kids park! I'm also thinking of visiting their indoor park Plopsa Indoor Hasselt later this year. Thanks for the info and the pics, i'm very interested to hear more about the possibe new coasters!
  9. ^ The 320+ model is the one being built at Duinrell, recently Adventure Island (UK) announced they're also gonna install a Euro-Fighter model 320+, and the pictures on the Fasanolandia site are 1) a close-up of Speed at Oakwood, and 2) a picture of the 320+ built at the Gerstlauer factory, so its likely the park will also go with the 320+ model, thow personally i hope they'll build a custom design.
  10. ^ Ow yeah, those to. I guess i only mentioned the Euro-Fighter cause that's the most interesting new ride, since its a coaster and all... Plus i think of all the new rides the Euro-Fighter will be the most thrilling, the only down side is that its probarly another copy of the 320+ model.
  11. Fasanolandia is a small park in Italy known for having the only Fabbri Inverted coaster (i believe Chris Belson has been there), i was looking around on their website and found this: 212.25.177.81/fasanolandia.html. Apparantly they're planning for a Euro-Fighter for next year, probarly another 320+ model (i hope not, but this model seems to be the next SLC (in terms of being copied i mean) so its a pretty big possibility). Anyways, i just wanted to say this for anyone who is interested in this park (i sure am). For anyone who has been there, whats the park like?
  12. lol, Anyways, yeah its probarly just the lighting and the angle that makes it look a little like its white, but if you look close enough you can see its actually just a really bright version of purple.
  13. Well, we shouldn't be TO negative, after all it would be pretty dirty and stupid for Parques Reunidos to abandon Parque Warner completely, it would ruin the company's reputation if they would fail running the park after Fadesa trusted them with it. I just doubt they'll go through with the masterplan, but that doesn't necessarily mean they won't expand the park anymore.
  14. Thanks for the news, i hope they take good care of Parque Warner, its a great park! I hope they go through with at least a part of the masterplan, but i doubt they'll turn it in to a complete resort when they risk competing with their own park. But who knows maybe they'll go through with it and find some way to keep PdA popular to.
  15. Nice pics and nice TR! (especially the aerial pic of Dragon Khan was great!). I really look forward to visiting PortAventura myself some day, i visited it years ago but that was before i was a coaster enthuisiasth and i don't really remember what i rode and if i liked it or not. Anyways now that their buiding a new coaster i have even more to look forward to! Thanks once again for the nice pics!
  16. Nice pics! I was going to go to Efteling this year but when the new coaster was posponed to 2007 i decided to wait till next year. Also, is parkbilder.de a new site? Suddenly i start hearing "go to parkbilder for more" all the time. Anyways, it looks like a good site so good luck with it! PS: Nice cake!
  17. I had a great year (at least in terms of coasters), this was the first year i've been coaster enthusiasth the whole full year (i discovered my love for coasters in fall 2005). Some numbers: -Current credit count: 53 (my goal was to go over 50 and i did!) -New credits: 40 -Coasters new for 2006 ridden: 3 (one of wich is Black Mamba! Would of been 4 but Stealth was closed) -Parks visited: 16 (13 new) -Parks visited the most: Bobbejaanland (2 times) & Walibi Belgium (4 times) This year i rode my first two B&M's (Nemesis Inferno & Black Mamba) and my first two Intamin's (Colossus (Thorpe) & Goliath (WBW)).
  18. As said before, putting Traumatizer there is a good thing for Blackpool so i'm happy they're putting it there, besides i don't hate SLC's that much so i might even enjoy riding it. But my main concern is the theming, or to put it differently, i really hope they give the coaster a nice new (different) paint job, and i hope they let the coaster stand above water (like when the log flume was there) or at least put some theming down there. Becouse bad rides are sometimes compensated a lot by good (or at least ANY) theming IMO.
  19. ^ Okay, thanks! I think i might visit it when i get to Italy. And thanks again for the nice pics!
  20. ^ Yeah the que was really unique, sometimes people would get wet from boats slamming into the sides and splashing them. Anyways, thanks for the replies, and if you wanna see a POV of Tornado don't forget to download it from here: www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=30564
  21. Nice pictures, good quality! Gardaland looks real beautiful, except of course the Screaming Squirrel ruining the view of Magic Mountain, but otherwise, the park looks excellent! If you don't mind, could you tell me some more about Luna Euro Park? I wonder its close to any other parks? And is it worth visiting? Anyways, thanks for the great pics brossa!
  22. I wanna be unemployed yet very rich.
  23. Maybe Barry went to far when he was stalking Elissa at Alton Towers back during the UK trip?
  24. Nice! Thanks for the pics. I went to Toverland this year and it was a nice park, but they could still use a new coaster, i guess i'll have to go back there next year! Also, i didn't know Toverland had so much room left for a new coaster, i thought they where gonna go for a compact lay-out on the events/pic-nic/whatever field next to boosterbike and the survival course, but apparantly its going to be a huge GCI!
  25. I like the coulours, very original! The name is a bit odd, yes, but it is still Japan so thats actually very normal (even Universal has to keep the Japanese culture in consideration, lol). Its good for Japan to have another B&M, and who knows maybe one day i'll get to ride it!
